Breakfast meals were awesome and they accommodated time requests. We enjoyed sitting looking at the ocean while eating our meal. We would have liked to get down to the beach but feel the stairs require some updating so didn't try. Did sit out on the lawn in the sunshine too. Good location.

This property is nestled in woodland that overlooks and accesses into the bay. The people who had the other suite had arrived by boat. They used their dingy to get ashore. The only difficulty was the condition of the stairs that led to the beach. The room was ample in size. The bathroom was large with choice of separate shower or soaker tub. The property is relaxing.

Lovely spot.

The food was great! The room was very comfortable but had a few dust bunnies in the corners. The grounds needed some work. The stairs down to the beach were very unsafe and the hot tub area could use some cleanup.

A great place for a Summer visit. Location is Beautiful. The Breakfast is hand delivered and Lovely. The only negative we had was no cream for coffee even though coffee was in the room.

Lovely place on the water, excellent breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at Arbutus Point. The location is great - not far from Ganges, near the Long Harbour ferries and right on the water so very relaxing to sit out after a day of touring. The suite was super clean and comfortable and the breakfast was to die for! Delicious omelette with fresh fruit and toast. And not to be forgotten, a hot tub just outside the room. Highly recommend this place!

It was very nice. We had a nice view and it was quiet. Having breakfast delivered to your room was great. They need to include hot chocolate packs in the room for those who don’t drink tea or coffee. That’s all. Thanks

The location was great and so was the view from our room. Small things need repairs in the room. Wobbly toilet seat and leaky faucet. Bed was great and so were the breakfasts. The host was super nice. Overall a good time.

Lovely place

What a lovely setting and gracious host. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning eating breakfast. Close to everything, yet secluded and quiet.

The b&b is located right on the water, which is great. There is a kayak guests can use, which we did. The breakfast was especially good. It was spacious and comfortable, though a little bit worn. There were four chairs for use on the gorgeous back lawn, but two of them were broken. Instead of fixing one, it had been dragged into the bushes. There is a hammock but it's oddly hung and you can't really lie in it. The host is friendly and the room is quiet. It was just a little casually kept up.

Great Location

We spent a pretty good night at Arbutus Point: Kevin, our host, was hospitable, our unit was attractive, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the pleasant water view. The privacy afforded to the 3 units is also a plus, and the location is great. However, there is some room for improvement. The bathroom floor was sticky, and the exterior and outdoor space needed some maintenance and tidying. The breakfast (2 waffles, 2 sausages and some fruit) was less than we had expected.

Very nice location - short steps down the ocean. Our first trip to Salt Spring Island - so much to see and do - will definitely be going back to see and experience more.

Awesome View, awesome food

Great spot very close to the water with access to the ocean if desired. There is a hot tub over looking the bay, and access to a Kayak if one were to desire a small adventure. When walking down on the rocks below the room, we discovered an abundance of sea life, including the most oysters I have ever seen! The cherry on top was the fantastic breakfast that was hand delivered in the morning. It included Belgian Waffles, pork sausages, and fresh fruit. It was a very nice touch. The one critism I would have is, as a younger couple looking for a bit of later fun on the town, it is a little far for amenities as far as dinner or drinks go. They did mention that taxis will offer their services out there, but it seemed like a bit of a hassle. Other than that, we would absolutely come back again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great for a getaway

Enjoyed our getaway and the chance to unwind. The suite was quiet with lots of comfort and great views of the ocean. The adjacent hot tub was ready for use and well maintained. We enjoyed being able to relax in this quiet and fairly secluded area. Breakfasts were delicious. Thank you.

Perfect little get-away

Had a lovely experience with a glass of wine and a late afternoon hot tub soak, then walk on the beach in the morning. Yummy breakfast, and the room was very nice and also very private. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks!

Very pleasant--and great value

My wife and I overnighted here for a weekend visit to Salt Spring Island. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the modest price got us a clean, quiet, comfortable room just steps from the shore and with a beautiful view across the water---plus a delicious homemade breakfast.
