Simple, but great
My mom and I stayed here for two nights. We arrived after hours, but they sent us all of the check-in information that morning and we were able to get our key without any issues. The room was simple but had everything we needed and was clean. The staff member at the front desk was lovely when we officially checked in the following morning. Breakfast was nice and filling, and there was plenty of room in the dining room to accommodate all guests. The location was good, just a ten minute walk to get across the bridge and very close to shopping and dining. There is a bus stop close by that took us directly to the train station.

Really comfortable & different. Good shower & comfy bed, my two necessities. Relaxed breakfast, continental. No tv, if you want this, we didn’t. Excellent for the markets, bus stops etc. Would love to return one day.

Great location in a quiet setting.
This was a great home base for touring. The room was modestly furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was super clean and the breakfast was very good. The tram was conveniently located within a block. The staff recommended that we purchase a Salzburg pass, which included access to all transportation. We were able to use the pass to get into all the places that were on our "must see" list and use mass transit too. We saved about 10 euros

We really enjoyed staying at this Gastehaus. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious. Easy access to all buses and a short walk to the Salzburg hbf. Close to shopping and restaurants. Perfect location to explore Salzburg. Highly recommend, and we will stay here again.

Exactly what you would expect
It's a catholic seminary's guesthouse. A decent room, comfortable enough, private bathroom. Everything you need. Decent breakfast. Excellent service, though limited hours. No ventilation other than the window, so probably gets hot in the summer. Okay in October. Same is true for the bathroom, it didn't properly dry once during the week. I can imagine that causing some problems in the long term.

Nice property with central location. Very clean. Good breakfasts. One minus-very noisy at night and if you stay there in hot summer time -it would be very difficult as there is no air conditioning and keep windows closed would be impossible

위치가 좋아 모든 관광지를 도보로 갈수있고, 숙소는 매우 편했다. 수도원이었던 곳이라 분위가 좋고, 아침도 만족스럽다. 다만 리셉션 근무시간이 매우 짧아 체크인과 아웃에 시간고려가 필요하다.

After hours fiasco
We stayed here for 2 nights. Unfortunately, we arrived after 4pm when the reception desk was closed. The only way to access your keys was via email. Unfortunately we lost our phone on the train and they were storing our luggage with other electronics. We pushed the button for the person to deal with emergencies and after 1.5 hours he came down. When he arrived, he was rude, unfriendly and seemed put out that we needed help. This was more than frustrating. The room was right on a street with a bar that was noisy all night. The window had to be open because it was so warm. The shower and room were clean. The breakfast was average but I expected more based on reviews. The location was central but the actual hotel was difficult to find because Google maps showed it across the street in an abandoned building.

This room was average with no amenities, which I expected. However, the room was right off the main street, which made it really loud. It was very warm and with no air conditioning the window needed to stay open. The breakfast was disappointing. There were no croissants (which every hotel seems to have) and very few options. The thing that surprised me most was that the reception desk opens at 8 and closes by 4. So when they stored our luggage, we had to wait for the reception office to open. The actual seminar is nice and clean, but the rest left a lot to be desired for the price.

I loved staying at this property. It had a feeling of serenity the minute you walked through the gates. It also had an elevator so even though old, the important parts were modernised. Nice thoughtful gestures like the pot of jam.

Would recommend this place - make sure to communicate ahead of time to be able to get in main door especially if the lobby is not open. The rooms are basic but comfortable & clean. Their is no air conditioning but temperature was ok. There were many Breakfast choices and it was good. They have a lovely inner courtyard were you can eat breakfast. Close to many restaurants, old town, buses and metro - great area!

Fantastic property in the heart of town, great staff, wonderful breakfast with fresh choices! Rooms are modest but comfortable. If you are a large person you will find the bathroom small. We loved the charm and atmosphere great value for the money, if you are a non smoker like we are, you will love it as no smoking on the property ❤️

The Gästehaus is situated in the middle of old Salzburg. It was unfortunately raining cats and dogs while I was in the city, but consider this: the Kapuzinerberg is in the back yard, Schloss Mirabell is barely a minute's walk away, and the Salzach is equally close from the front door. The reception staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was absolutely mind-blowing - gorgeous high ceilings, an excellent bathroom, and so much space you could, in theory, live in comfortably. The bed was great, I had a quick lie down after arriving and slept for two hours while the rain and thunderstorm softly sounded in the background. Considering there was a weather alert, the double windows do a fantastic job of silencing the environment. Truly a blessing to have come across, will definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

Noisy throughout the night
Great central location but loud noise from cafe and back-street under window throughout the night, need to keep windows closed and room gets/stays warm/stuffy during those warm summer days. Breakfast excellent quality, may have to ask for eggs.

Gästehaus is a wonderful place to stay. It is clean, quiet and is close to all the tourist attractions. There are many dining options in the area as well. They do provide breakfast which is delicious and healthy, a great way to start off your day. I will stay here again if I find myself back in Salzburg for a visit.

This guesthouse has the cleanest rooms; amazing comfortable beds & loved the pillows! It was like entering a quiet, private courtyard every time! The outside bustle and noise completed disappeared! Historic and so easy to get to important spots in the ‘Old City’ Salzburg. Breakfast was delicious & filling & included! The shower/EXCELLENT!

Incredible place to stay in Salzburg
The Gästehaus im Priesterseminar in Salzburg was an incredible place to stay. It was central to everything including restaurants, attractions, shopping, and much more! The staff were so kind and welcoming. i arrived almost 3 hours early prior to check in with the expectation that I was just going to leave my bag in the storage but my room was ready and they gave me the keys!! Breakfast was very nice and the entire place including rooms was very clean. The front desk staff also told me about the Salzburg card which was such a great deal and I got to see so many attractions with it and it saved me a lot of money as transit was also included! The room was very spacious and came with a large bathroom. There were also communal spaces, a computer and kitchen for use by guests!
