"This is a delightful hotel with staff that are extremely friendly and helpful. Although the historic nature of the hotel precluded lifts this did not detract from the stay (one way of saying fit).Huge benefit of having on site parking."

"We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the beautiful setting of the property. The grounds, terrace, and pool area were absolutely lovely and made it feel like a peaceful escape just outside the city. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and breakfast each morning was very good. We stayed in one of the loft rooms, which was spacious and unique. "Tolle Hanglage mit Blick auf die Altstadt gepflegte Gartenanlage mit Sitz und Liegestühlen. Es gibt einen kleinen Pool. Das Frühstück war ganz gut. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist das wenn man am Wochenende anreist, das Hotelrestaurant im voraus reservieren muss, ansonsten muss man außerhalb Essen gehen, da dieses ausgebucht war."
