"We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s steps away from Spagna station and the Spanish steps as well as shopping and local dining options. The hotel itself was clean and the bathroom was very spacious. They have a few rooms in the building that’s listed and another property just around the corner which is where we stayed but I preferred this one better. No concierge or receptionist but when I called, the receptionist came pretty quickly to check us in. Both buildings have elevators too. Highly...

"Stayed in the the Junior suit with a balcony and beautiful view. The staff is so friendly and helpful like a big family! Typical Italian rustic style but very charming hotel. Lucca only about 8 minutes away by car. Will come back again! Breakfasts are the same every day which is a bit boring . We would like to have more options like a fruit salad / soft fruit and tomatoes and eggs to choose from. Other than that - lovely place to stay. Thank you all for looking after us . "A truly delightful stay. Borgo del Carato is beautifully restored, and located in beautiful surroundings. The first thing that struck us is how the air is rich with the scent of orange and wisteria blossom and the garden in the morning full of birdsong.
