"We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. Every day, after enjoying the hydrotherapy pool, the sauna, and the steam room, we slept incredibly well. It was a weekend filled with relaxation and excellent food. We had dinner, breakfast, and lunch at the hotel, and everything was delicious. The rooms are spacious and feature very comfortable king-size beds, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Whenever we visit Salcedo, this will be our place to stay."

The staff also claimed hotel does not accept pre-paid reservations as a matter of policy and hence I would have to pay them in cash as they also did not have any way to receive payment by credit card. "Rocio was such a great host. Made us feel very welcome and was always available for whatever we needed. Offering us coffee and free laundry service were very generous gestures we really appreciated. "El cedro soñado is a unique and beautiful location near Baños and Párate, Ecuador, the staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating, the location is one of a kind and the views and peaceful setting are the main drivers for visitors, that said it is not easy to get to since it takes between 35-40 minutes up a very steep mountain road, I personally enjoyed the drive, my other traveling companions not so much. Overall Cedro Soñado it's a great choice, just be aware what makes it unique also makes it hard to get to."
