"We spent 3 nights at B&B Cantico delle Creature and loved every minute. The location is unbeatable — tucked right under the old city walls, within easy walking distance of all the main sights: the Basilica of San Francesco, Rocca Maggiore, and Assisi's charming cobblestone lanes. You can trek everywhere on foot, or drive and use the designated parking spots nearby. Restaurants, cafés, and shopping are just steps away. Breakfast was AAA — fresh pastries, local cheeses and cured meats, jams, fresh bread and excellent espresso. The staff were friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful in every way, always ready with tips and recommendations. Rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully kept. Very peaceful and quiet atmosphere, real hospitality, and great value. We'd definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area. Highly recommended!"

"This location is just between The Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi along a brick walkway between the two. “De Angeli” is a 15 minute walk flat and San Francesco is a 45 monitor walk all up hill. The hotel offers breakfast which you can book along with your reservation that is bountiful and includes eggs to order. Dinner is available with a reservation which can made the same day. We left the hotel early to drive to Roma and they had a box breakfast waiting for to take along on our drive. We stayed in a standard double bed room which was small but included a refrigerator, a bottle of water, a teapot, assorted teas, and shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap. The bed was European king with allergy pillows, but a hard mattress compared to American standards. The staff is very attentive, on duty 24/7, and accommodating. The parking lot is plentiful and free. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that will take you very near Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi, and the Rocca Maggiore. If you end up at San Damiano, there is a bus that will take you back to San Francesco d’Assisi and The Eremo delle Carceri."
