"My friend and I stayed only one night. The room was okay, I find the room outdated specifically the carpet, there's dirt and floor was bit properly mop, and there's a distinct smell like sour near the closet and AC. About 10 mins walk from Little Italy ( all restaurant restaurant no shops)."

"They should probably place club before hotel in the title because this is absolutely a club during the day and a night, and a hotel second. Either way the hotel is perfect for a millennial getaway. I would not recommend asking anyone over the age of 40 to join. Emi the manager was so lovely and so was Rye the bartender. The hotel is a local destination for partygoers so it becomes a major club on Friday and Saturdays. Oh, and get to the pool at sunrise or you won’t get a seat. I really did...

"The room was fairly clean, although it smelled like mildew in there. I took pictures and reported a dead decaying mouse next to the pool, which the staff really didn’t seem to care about. The pool itself was green cloudy and the bottom of it was covered with slime. We literally had to go next-door to the Kings Inn. When I emailed the manager about it. He was rude and unhelpful. I highly recommend staying at the best Western in Escondido, that one is amazing… This one not so much."
