It was a wonderful stay. Because I was in town for so long it was very convenient to have in unit kitchen and washing. Everything located about a $10 uber drive away. 10 out of 10

I was in the second floor and could see homeless people from my window, but for the price and amenities it made up for it 100%, I highly recommend. Lobby is beautiful, check in is so easy, there was a bath!

Great sport to stay in Down town San Diego. Close to everything. On the 22nd floor there’s a great pool and hang out lounge. Very clean and safe. Def would stay here again.

I had an issue checking in, it was difficult to get a response quickly. But overall, the apartment is very nice. We had a great stay regardless! The amenities are 5stars!

The place was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous rooftop pool and hot tub. The security guard on duty during our stay was fantastic. The only complaint I have is they do not allow early check in and would not let us drop our bags off. Our flight arrived at 11:00 AM and we could not check in until 4:00 PM. We had no rental car and had to scramble to find something to do for hours with four suitcases. It would have been so much nicer if we could have dropped them off and walked to lunch or something.

Went for a marathon I was going to run and this was very close to the finish line. We found out it's also very close to Little Italy and we could walk down to the marina as well. Great location. The apartment was very clean had a full sized washer and dryer, a nice little kitchen, and a keurig coffee maker along with some pods. We were on the second floor so we got a bit of noise from the street below but it didn't bother us too much. The pool deck on the roof was perfect. Great views. Not one child was up there during out visit, not saying kids are bad!! But it was very quiet and relaxing. Most people up there were just laying out. I'd definitely stay here again just on a higher floor.

Household provisions were supplied, so with the hot and humid temps in August, I was able to get fresh laundry done regularly. Everything from laundry soap to Keurig coffees were provided. Love, love, love the rooftop pool with a fabulous view of downtown San Diego and the beautiful sunsets. Team members are friendly, kind, and very helpful in every way. Will return!

Everything was wonderful. Just wish parking was included. Bit of a hassle to find parking under $30 a night. The complex itself is very nice but the area had a lot of sketchy people around.

Tolles modernes Zimmer und ein traumhafter Blick oben von der Pool Etage. Wirklich einmalig. Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen und werden jederzeit wiederkommen. Nur am Check-In Prozess muss noch gearbeitet werden, der ist sehr kompliziert. Normalerweise verläuft der Checkin kein online ohne Personal, wir hatten wahnsinniges Glück, dass zufällig Daniela da war und uns geholfen hat.

I really enjoyed my stay at The San Diego ANCORA ! incredible rooftop pool with amazing views . Very Very Clean . took me a second to figure out the fob & door lock but it worked great ! Delicious food just blocks away in either direction gas lamp district one way, little Italy the other way. Its a 7 eleven store a few blocks away for a early coffee run. San Diego`s downtown is a beautiful spot BUTTTT it needs more green space for such a pet friendly community cause it has a punget smell of dog pee EVERYWHERE!!! I Highly Reccomed staying here ! Very nice place in the convient community of Cortez .

Great place to stay. Pool was amazing. Excellent location. Very clean. Walking distance to the ocean and many great locations. Saturday farmers market was my favorite and it's a block away. I'm not a huge fan of Stainless steel cookware as you need chef skills:) but we figured it out. Only issue was figuring out parking location and cost. It's about $25 per day.

Upon parking (ample st parking due to neighborhood) & exiting your car you are immediately struck by the smell of people using the street as a bathroom and the sight of homeless on every corner. The upscale building is centered in a no-man's land of downtown with no businesses and just urban blight. Yes, you can walk through this neighborhood 4 blocks and reach Little Italy. The areas feel unsafe at night and unpleasant during the day. Instructions, policies, forms, signatures, messages from AvantStay are endless and cumbersome. However, when you actually need something they go quiet. My unit was on the 2nd floor facing street lights and oncoming traffic. No blackout shades so the noise and light meant sleeping with headphones and eye mask to try and get some sleep. Appliances and plumbing were noisy as well. Unit uses internet TV so no actually live main stream channels to watch. I request to leave early, which I did after the first night, but host cited their policy in not giving me a refund. STAY AWAY from this property and host in general

Under the bed was thick dust - you could see where the mop had gone. Dishes in cabinet were dirty. Not able to store luggage waiting for room. View of Evan’s Tires so blinds were closed most of the time. Close to Little Italy which was nice. Close to convention center but not the best security in walking at night.

Es una muy buena opción para hospedarte, el personal de Ancora fue muy amable. Las instalaciones están en excelente estado, el departamento cuenta con todo lo necesario para tener una muy buena estancia. Muy limpio. Lo único complicado es que no tiene estacionamiento propio, pero eso se puede solucionar con estacionamientos cercanos o bien buscando lugar para estacionarte en la calle.

Loved this property! Very nice amenities. Parking was a breeze, we were able to find free street parking for the entirety of our stay. We felt safe and it was close to the freeway and major attractions. We would stay again for sure.

El mejor lugar donde me he quedado, las fotos no le hacen justicia al lugar, la habitacion con una vista excelente, el edificio bellísimo y moderno, el area social esta para nunca salir del edificio, piscina climatizada con la mejor vista de la ciudad y los aviones cruzan frente al rooftop para una experiencia inolvidable. Caminando a Little italy y super tranquila la zona, no dire mas porque no terminare de decir cosas buenas de este lugar. 100% Recomendado.
