This is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time.. peaceful quiet convenient friendly clean and comfortable fully renovated

Room 204 has no ac and staff didn’t show any interest in resolving the issue. Had to leave room for another hotel around midnight because the room was 82 degrees.

Couldn't check in until 7 PM due to cleaning. AC, and Refrigerator are NOT working. The room temp is over 80 degrees. complaint many times but no answers. I even conta cted Hotels.com but no help at all. They even hang up after 15 minutes of waiting. It was a terrible experience.

The room was perfectly nice, although on the second floor my views were of other parts of the building itself and right above the noisy street level and taco place. The entry way/stairs/elevator/hallways were very out of date and worn. Not fun walking through the swarm of flies outside the entryway due to the garbage cans lined up. Room good, getting to and from a little less so.

Historic Penn Hotel - comfortable and spacious!

Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Very close to everything in the gas lamp and a short walk to the Convention Center and the ballpark. The host was very responsive.

0/10 experience with my stay. stayed in room 204 and have videos/proof of my room and they still didn’t help me with what was going on. i had issues with the ac not working and 90 degree weather outside when i first arrived for check in. they said they would send a maintenance person but nobody ever showed up. went out for dinner later and when i came back my door was unlocked and opened but no ac fixed. called to let them know that i felt unsafe staying the night there knowing the door doesn’t lock safely, they couldn’t change my room because the hotel was fully booked. i understand but they couldn’t even call and offer me a refund or do something more about it. there’s nobody on the property to talk to so thats why they don’t really care about one’s problems. communicating was only talking over the phone no real in person to talk to about issues in the building. overall everything was very unprofessional and think they could have handled my situation better. do not recommend this place. should’ve known when i couldn’t find this place on apple maps that it was sketchy. and also no parking including so you have to find public parking garages or street. horrible overall do not recommend 👎

Beautiful apartment. Well decorated, good space. Wish it had been cleaner. Located in a very noisy street. Wifi never worked. There is no lobby and the entrance to the building is really dirty and smelly. It gives you a bad impression.

The property do not have people attending, you do everythig by messages, you have places to eat arround that you can reach walking. The room is very nice, clean and comfortable

It was right at the heart of downtown where everything is happening. No need to drive. Everything was walking distance. The place itself was great and clean.

I left as soon as I arrived. This is not a real hotel but rather apartments/condos in a historic hotel building. There's no lobby, and the communication with staff was spotty. The entrance was crowded with trash cans and unhoused people. The elevator is extremely dated. The room was clean and updated, but all of the windows were cracked open when I arrived and one window didn't shut. Multiple lightbulbs out. The bed comforter/blanket had a cigarette burn in it. At night, the area is filled with people, music and police sirens. There's a club below it, so you can hear music throughout the entire night.

We had to book something quickly and found this spot. We didn’t realize it wasn’t a traditional hotel with a lobby and staff to greet you. It was a bit confusing how and where to go. The room was nice. Recently renovated and it was nicely done. Ours was a quick trip but the area around the hotel seems lively.

It was a nice and very clean space. Very comfortable and the area is great! Parking is the only issue, but that is out of the control of the hotel. You have to find a close parking garage and they are quite expensive. Maybe the hotel can invest in making a parking lot for their guest?

My stay was mixed. There is nobody there for checking in. Check-in was self-service, and it took additional steps to obtain the entry code. The room itself was clean with a comfortable bed, but the entryway area had an unpleasant odor, and parts of the interior looked worn. Noise from nearby nightlife was significant during the evenings, even with the provided earplugs. Some in-room amenities, including the dishwasher and trash can, were not functioning during my visit.
