The property was good, the room was very clean and quiet despite being next to the freeway, and the front desk staff was very friendly, quick and efficient.

The unit was adequate and the best price we could find for the area. That said, we were placed right next to the entry door and could hear people coming and going all night. I also detected a distinct urine smell in the room. Possibly in the carpet? The beds themselves seemed clean but the blankets were very thin. The bathroom has been remodeled and was new and clean.

Good experience overall. Room was very clean and it was a big room and bathroom. Only negative was We arrived late and I didn’t read the part where it stated a deposit was needed. The Blonde night lady was very rude and condescending and treated me like duh 🙄 because I asked her what the deposit was for. Other than that, I’d recommend it.

8 pm I'm a 75 year old woman checking in. It's cold outside. He made me stand outside a window to check in. I use a cane or walker. I said I have to stand here to do this? He said yes. I'm looking at a lovely lobby I can't go to. Then instead of putting hold on my credit card for $100 he charged it $100!!!

Hello Miss Paula, sorry for the inconvenience, our lobby does close from 8 pm to 7 am. I was looking at your reservation and noticed the deposit was only authorized not charged. when authorized, it holds the funds until you check out and your bank releases the hold. take care

The inside of the room was great. The location, not so much, lots of homeless wondering around the parking lot area. Staff were very helpful and the room was good for the price

I was expecting more from a hotel with an 8.6 rating. As soon as I walked into the room, my key card stopped working. The room was very small and the bathroom condition was horrible. The faucet was loose and flopped all over the place. The drain plug in the tub didn't work and the towels were like sandpaper. I didn't sleep well either night, and to top it off, I couldn't get the game on the TV. There are plenty of choices in Redwood City, and I probably won't choose this one again. The only good thing about it was the price. I guess you get what you pay for. The staff was kind, but that didn't make up for the condition of the room.
