Staff is very accommodating! The attached restaurant was tasty. Highly recommended the buffet breakfast. Plenty of delicious options to choose from and kitchen staff is more than willing to accommodate any intolerance of ingredients used. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was a bit stiff and the pillows were a bit too soft. To each their own, however neither would keep me from staying again. The location is extremely walkable to nearby attractions and you can find free bike rentals or paid electric scooter rentals conveniently at the front door should your itinerary take you a little farther out. Enjoy your stay!

The hotel was expensive and then they added $65 for parking and $10 tax on parking, plus city fees and all kinds of extras beyond what I had already paid for using Expedia. It is an old hotel, rooms were nice but bathrooms were very dated.Not worth the price!

I was not told in advance that the room I paid for (city view) was going to be disrupted due to construction. I didn’t have to pay for the hotel fee, but still the room I paid for was not what I got. The hotel is dated and the valet was slow.

They are renovating the outside, so we had trouble finding it because the building was covered in scaffolding, but they matched the price of self parking for valet parking!

Overall, the hotel was nice, the staff were helpful, and our stay was good. However, the property is currently under renovation, which we were NOT notified of at any point. The outside of the building was covered in scaffolding, and there was very loud construction noise in the room in the middle of the day. The windows in some of the rooms were covered in frosted plastic, with workers right on the other side. It was tolerable, but had my children still needed afternoon naps, it would have been unacceptable. Had we been warned ahead of time that this would be a concern and been given a discount, I probably would have booked the hotel anyway and been completely satisfied. As it is, it seemed over priced given the noise and intrusion, and I am quite irritated that they never mentioned it to us. Beyond that, the kids enjoyed the pool, although it is only 3 feet deep everywhere. The restaurant was extremely expensive, so we never ate in it. The layout of the hotel was very odd, with only one set of elevators, and a weird two level lobby. The location was great, close to transit and Fisherman's Wharf.

We completely understand the inconvenience this could cause, especially with young ones needing rest. I would never have booked here if I knew the view would be scaffolding and mesh. You have to keep your shades closed for privacy. So no sunlight in your room ever. The construction drilled loudly into the outside of the building all day long. If you want to nap or come back to your room to rest that’s not an option. The street noise is loud, but it didn’t bother me. I mention it because it might bug others. The people next door had super loud kids all hours of the night and the room smelled of marijuana through the entire stay which gave me a headache every time we were in the room. The positives were the location, very kind valets, and housekeeping staff. They only give you three towels though when we had four people. Also, don’t waste your money at the Brick and Beam restaurant. All of the dishes our party had for dinner lacked flavor. Including basics like salt and pepper. As a reference I have over a decade of luxury property management experience and I’m an award winning chef. Take it as you will.

Not a fantastic stay here. We were told about construction activity that was taking place on the building exterior as we checked in. There was scaffolding with construction workers busy right outside our bedroom window every day. Not a problem if you’re going to spend the entire day away from the hotel, but if you plan to return for a nap or to freshen up before the evening, it can certainly be a big inconvenience. We found the bedrooms very basic and the walls paper thin. It was possible to clearly hear guests in the rooms either side of us. Overall not a terrible stay, but if we return to SF e we will probably try somewhere else in the future.

We would stay here again! The staff are friendly and helpful! When we arrived and got to our room the hotel was doing construction right outside the window, they immediately moved us to another room and waved the resort fees for the inconvenience. The second room was great and very quiet!

Blow dyer did not work. There was no room service . Also when checked in the individual at the front desk wasn’t very friendly . Different story when we checked out. Over all it was an ok place to stay.

Room AC didn’t work, so we didn’t sleep great at all. I find the concept of the destination fee kind of ridiculous given the only amenity I actually took advantage of was the bottle of water… meaning I was effectively charged $30 something for a water bottle. Charging a fee because someone **might** rent a bicycle that’s likely not available is a bit beyond ridiculous, why not just ask guests to choose services they want and charge accordingly? Just kinda feels like a scam. I won’t be staying here again that’s for sure.

We recently stayed here for my kids's spring break. It was close to everything near Fisherman's Wharf and elsewhere. If we couldn't walk it, we could Uber inexpensively. I suggest you prepay for the breakfast buffer if you can. It's a real deal. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. The only downside was the outdoor pool which was too cold to utilize and no vending machines. The hotel did have a "convenience corner" near the front desk/lobby with reasonable prices. Close to Trader Joe's and Walgreen's. I highly recommend!

Appreciated the quiet time rule after 9 pm. Rooms seem to be insulated due to no noise disturbance from other rooms. Friendly staff. Fantastic valet service. We will return to visit.
