Such a beautiful peaceful property, lovely to hear the birds after being in the cities Friendly and helpful staff, especially Maria who gave us excellent local advice especially to make sure that we got a Dondoli Gelato in San Gimignano- you were 💯 right Maria And Nicola at the restaurant- fantastic service I feel that coffee and tea making facilities in the room would be a great idea

Es war wirklich wunderschön in Tenuta Decimo. Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich und man sah überall die Liebe zum Detail. Das dazugehörige Restaurant hatte köstliche Speisen! Das Frühstück war lecker und definitiv ausreichend. Außerdem liegt die Unterkunft wirklich perfekt! Abseits von allem, aber nur kurze Fahrzeiten nach beispielsweise san Gimignano oder Volterra. Wir waren sehr traurig, als wir wieder abreisen mussten. 100%ige Empfehlung!

La casa era molto grande e comoda, con un patio privato e l’essenziale per cucinare. Borgo Mariano, dove era situato il nostro appartamento, è un vecchio borgo recuperato e ristrutturato come struttura ricettiva, sembrava di essere catapultati nel passato. Archi, pozzi e vecchi forni…stupendo. Un giardino bellissimo e curatissimo e una piccola area giochi. La casa era globalmente pulita, ma ho trovato alcune stoviglie sporche. Consigliatissimo.

The property is very nice and very peaceful, the room was big and very clean. It's on the outskirts of San Gimiliano about 15 minutes driving. It's very close to Volterra too. The property will be amazing for summer as it's has a lovely pool and chill out areas. We loved the tranquility of the place.

Eine sehr schöne Anlage, schöne Umgebung und schöne Zimmer. Top Hotel, jedoch wurden wir direkt bei der Ankunft unfreundlich aufgefordert das Auto umzuparken, anstatt freundlich begrüsst zu werden. Dies haben wir als Unangenehm empfunden.

I really wouldn’t recommend this hotel ! While the nature and property were stunning and the villas were generously sized the cleanliness and staff helpfulness was very poor .there were very large bugs in the shower and tons of dust below the beds and one of our beds was not made at all .we only received one tiny bar of hand soap for a 3 bedroom ,6 ppl villa and when we ask for toiletries and extra toilet paper we received only 2 sets of shampoo and shower gel as a one time courtesy , any more we would be charged for .While we had a full kitchen with plates and pots there was zero silverware and to top it off we had to take our own garbage out upon departure . There is a fitness facility and a paddle court that you can only use for a fee .

Hidden treasure!

WOW! I can not say enough about this property and the staff!! We were late getting to the property as the weather was raining and we had no where we were going! We stopped the restaurant and the gentleman took us up the the reservation desk! As we were waiting another couple came up. They were so gracious to call someone and get the code to unlock the box with our room key. Then she took us all the way to our room! I think we were the only guests that night! So comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was perfect and so appreciated!

Incredible villa in the Tuscan hills, beautiful views and great location to explore the area from but you will need a car. Clean, rustic room with good facilities. The service was fantastic, very helpful staff. We enjoyed using the pool and had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced. We didn’t have a balcony so we had our own private shaded outdoor area where we ate most nights. We chose not to cook so didn’t inquire about a kettle or other cooking utensils, but these weren’t provided in the room so you may need to request these. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Beautiful views but dreadful accommodation

Really unpleasant accommodation. No WiFi in the rooms. Linen was unclean and everything is charged for separately (including use of pool, use of cooling or heating in the room).

Beautiful View

Very nice location. Country side is beautiful. Check-in/out is the only issue with the availability of staff somewhat limited. You can't check-out earlier than 0900 hours as there is no one staffing the lobby. Very nice view from the room. Room was comparatively inexpensive but the cleaning fee brought the total price up so you are not real getting a super deal on price. Vey nice pool for those months when it is open! I would recommend the location, we enjoyed our stay.

My family arrived for one night in April on a cold wet day. We were told at the time arrival that we would be charged per hour for any heat that we used. This fee was not mentioned prior to our arrival and, because we were afraid of what the unknown cost would be, we spent the night cold. We were also charged about 50 US dollars in a cleaning fee. This was excessive in light of the fact we were there 12 hours.

Make sure you get the right property we were not told that our room was at the lower villa and in a room with a shared living space. The views at the top villa were nice and the food was fine, the property is nice and near some great vineyards.
