"We were looked after by the lovely Martina, who allowed us to check in early to drop off our bags and very kindly upgraded our room to have a balcony! The rooms and amenities were perfect, we were sad we were only staying overnight! It’s in the perfectly location right in the heart of the Verona, everything we needed was a 5-20 minute walk away depending which side of the river were we’re going to. We would absolutely recommend to anyone."

"The proprietor was extremely friendly and helpful, talking us through the features of the property and mapping out a good route to see the local area, especially useful as we were only in the area for a day. The room and property overall is beautifully decorated. The only negative is a separate private bathroom which does involve crossing a communal area to reach, however each bathroom is exclusive to each room and the property provides bathrobes for each guest so this isn't a massive problem....

"This place was conveniently located for our needs. We stayed two nights, one day to visit Verona and another day for a Venice daytrip . The hotel was really nice. Staff always friendly. Breakfast was nice to start your day. "

"We were told they were not serving breakfast until next week. We would have been ok with that, but I don't like being told it's available when it is not. I suspect it is because we were the only people staying in the hotel. There should be some indication in the advertisement that breakfast is not always available."

"Beautiful rooms, property and grounds. Great location and quiet. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice (we could smell the croissants baking each morning). Staff were lovely. My only complaint is that there weren’t many outlets in the room - it’s very old, so not a surprise. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would return for sure."

"This couldn’t have been a more perfect spot for our family while in Verona— the location is central, the property is beautiful, and the amenities like the Dyson hair dryer and smeg coffee machine were the cherry on top. Our balcony view was amazing— perfect morning coffee spot! "

"Great location, and amazing view (our room faced the river). Quick and courteous response to questions from "remote" service staff. Room and bath are quite large, however needing a little renovation. Dropping luggage, picking up key, the garage opener, and reaching the particulars of the parking garage instructions can be challenging when staff is not available (our case). Many restaurants nearby, which is useful since the unit does not offer breakfast. Overall, a great value"
