"The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "

Total relaxation, and it's a breath of fresh air so literally. The staff are pleasant, friendly, provides above and beyond excellent customer service. It's a paradise where my husband and I don't want leave. We will be back, and will tell all our friends and family of how lucky we are to have found this gem."

"Absolutely beautiful property. Owner was super friendly and helpful. Always available. Restaurant on site was very good. We ate our meals overlooking the ocean. Rather remote property, so get some extras you might need from the store on your way. Perfect for a quiet getaway or to do some writing or work. Even a solo trip. Bed and linens were top notch comfortable, as were the toiletries, also. Request a downstairs room if possible to help have a cooler room if going during the hotter months. Beautiful place."
