This Lobbie closes at 11pm sharp. Iknew i was going to be arriving past that time. I called and kept the staff updated on my situation. I was fortunate to be able to check in shortly after 11 due to constant communication. This may not hppen with everyone.

The price is good especially if you just need a room for a night but the place is super outdated the room seriously looked like it was from a horror movie super old carpet old wallpaper even the furniture it seriously looked in welcoming

It’s a cool place to be there is a liquor store next door so there are guys that might make you feel intimidated but they are regular guys all you gotta do is smile and say what’s up. It’s a nice walk to 7-11am the light rail stops very close by. Overall it a good place to rest.

The room looked like it needed some TLC. The towels looked dirty, we ran out of toilet paper and had to procure some more from the front desk. The location was great.

Cold water in the shower

There was NO hot water. It wasn’t easy to shower since it was a cold day in general and it was terrible to have to shower with cold water. The lady at the front desk was very nice and checking in was very easy.

You get what you pay for.

Needed a place to stay near the airport for an early flight and didn’t want to spend much. Based on the price and the area I wasn’t expecting much. The place is clean but old, could really use an update. The bed was comfortable so we did have a good sleep. The service was excellent, no complaints there.

Staff was nice, place was surprisingly quiet. Not the best neighborhood, but a $200 a night Holiday Inn Express is next door so money won’t improve location. Older facility but I didn’t see any issues with cleanliness. On a budget, I’ll stay again, no drama no problems.

While the staff was good, property seemed like a slapstick comedy movie. No shampoo, conditioner, old toilets, ironboard couldn’t stand on it’s on. No iron in the room (to be asked). No blockers in bath tub and sink. TV wasn’t working. And when you wanna contact the reception there was no phone in the room. Had so much fun laughing along on each surprise.

Caravelle Inn - San Jose N First Sr 😡

No hot water, no soap, TV didn’t work. The rugs was all torn and coming up. When went to talk to the manager he was hostile and said “check out then, leave the key and don’t leave a bad review”. We were stocked but decided to stay. We were able to take one shower each because we were finely able to get warm water in 4 days.

There wasn’t a hair dryer. Furniture was old but clean. Luckily the whole area is not noisy.

Door locked, bed was comfy and toilet flushed. However, the room had no charging outlets, NO hot water, hotel website stated free airport shuttle-NOT, no sink nor tub drain covers, A/C control was broken, décor was worn and old, carpeting was thin and not soft to sit-down on, and location is potentially dangerous with homeless loitering on the property. Despite the low price, try somewhere else at a higher price.
