It seems as though the hotel administration does not take the security of their guests seriously, nor the gravity of a strange man in the room of a woman who is alone and sleeping, although this situation wouldn’t be any less serious if I had been awake.
The maintenance staff entered my room without the proper authorization. I didn’t open the door when him knocked, I did not authorize his entry, and I had the “snoozing” sign on the door.
The room did not include any sort of mechanism to secure the door from the inside. To this day, I have not received as little as an apology from the hotel for the intrusion even though I sent an email with my complaint regarding the intrusion and soliciting an explanation at the moment, I went to the hotel lobby to speak with the manager about this matter, but I was told that the manager left at 5 and no one contacted me at all.
Nice hotel, good cleanliness, security to enter the building was good, notwithstanding, the security inside the hotel requires improvement.
On the other hand, as a wrote in my email, if you need to fix something, do it before guest arrive.
The intrusion and lack of communication/response from the hotel administration completely ruined my stay.
