I want to start by saying that the staff was kind, lack a little of attention to detail but they are nice. The hotel is in a great location HOWEVER My sister and I (both women in our late 30's-40's) arrived at 3am and we were told we had to wait till 12pm or 3pm AST to check in. We had no where to go that early in the morning so we sat in the lobby on this dirty couch and felt "off" - tthen we started getting itchy and breaking out in hives, we also noticed that older men with younger "women" were coming in and out. this didn't make us feel safe. I asked the front desk clerk if he knew where our room would be he said somewhere upstairs, My sister's back was full of bug bites - it's now 5am and we decided to call the hotel we had purchased a daypass at it is a nicer bigger chain hotel and they said we could come and sit in the lobby and start using the facilities at 6am THANK GOD- I worked with Expedia to see if they could move us to a different hotel but the price difference was truly out of our budget - Expedia apologized and offered us our money back and we would get to keep the reservation. They ended up giving us a one bedroom villa on the same block this felt a little more safe the the building it had a locked porch and double lock front door. Service was a lacking as our room was only cleaned once we had to ask for fresh towels and extra sheets. Also the bathroom lacks ventalation so it makes the entire villa musty.

First let me say location was great, walkable to the beach. Close to a lot of restaurants and souvenir shopping. The hotel was decent, nothing fancy. It was clean and adequate. No hangers in room and no dresser. Staff was great, no issues with them at all. Both restaurants were good, but busy, service was a little slow. Comfortable for a short stay. Nice pool area.

This hotel left quite a bit to be desired. The lobby area was dark n the furniture needed to be cleaned, not welcoming in the least by its appearance. Not what I expected by the online pics at all. We even thought about cancelling our reservation but I was past the allotted time to do that so we thought maybe it would be ok. We were there early so front desk attendant let us leave our luggage till ck in time so we could walk around the area. We got checked in our room n it was pretty stark n needed some repairs n paint. Tge remote for tv did not work n 2 ladies came n tried to connect a Phillips remote to the Magnavox tv with no success. It would connect w the tiny screw in bulb ceiling fan but would not turn off the light so had to unscrew the fixture to turn off the light. The lighting did not work above the sink n was missing parts, no hot water available in sink n no hot water at all for showers. We had no wash cloths or hand towels. Beds only came w a worn gray blanket over the sheets. One wooden chair that looked in need of cleaning n curtains that had some dried blood n other stains on them. We heard every noise, voice n stomp through the night till we got up at 2:30am n then a roach ran out the bathroom n under the exterior door! The exterior door offered nothing in way of security but an old chain lock so we put the dirty chair in front of it. I will never book this hotel again nor would I ever recommend it!!

Staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating. Yes the Hotel is dated but it had everything we needed for one night before our cruise. Pool was available and used by many. Two restaurants available on the spot. I appreciated that it was on the Isla verde strip, very walkable. We enjoyed the beach and great selections of restaurants, casinos, supermarket and Walgreens. As older ladies, the area felt very safe at all times. The laundry was a plus. Thank you for all your efforts. Feliz Navidad. Myrna G- Michigan

The room wasn’t clean. The fan couldn’t turn off, it was freezing at night. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable, the bed made noise and wasn’t comfortable. The bath towels were dingy, the shower curtain had mold, the shower also had mold on the wall. It just wasn’t what I expected. However, the staff were nice and it was very convenient to have a gift shop and two restaurants on site. Never again though.
