The front counter staff was extremely friendly and social. Parking was wide-open and safe. My room was very clean and was fairly well-appointed at this price point. It was nice having the balcony.

Parking was easy. Location is OK. Rooms are quiet. Nothing fancy here. The online photos make it look WAY more glamorous than it is. It's OK if all you need is a place to crash. If you're looking for a more resort like atmosphere, you might want to look elsewhere.

The hotel is not located in the downtown Paso Robles area, which was a drawback for us. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were reasonably comfortable. However, the pillows were thick, lumpy, and quite hard. All three of us woke up with stiff necks. The staff was nice and accommodating, which we appreciated. That said, we would not stay here again unless we brought our own pillows

Pros: lots of parking, newer carpets, clean sheets and comfy beds; not too far from downtown (and ample parking in downtown so drive is like 3-5 mins) Cons: some broken items housekeeping hadn’t attended to prior to check in (broken hairdryer, a long hair in shower). Owner was quick to file report to housekeeping. Phone made weird clicking noise.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel just outside of the downtown area of Paso Robles. I was looking for a quick stop just off the highway and for the price this was very good. I read bad reviews which none of which came true! They must have listened and fixed them all. Instantly got a free upgrade by the friendly man behind the desk. Easy, free parking. Large, large room. Big king bed (I’m 5ft 8 and had to make a hearty leap to get on and off of it!!). Super comfy bed. Slept like a log. Nice pillows, none were hard. I found mine to be perfect and I struggle with pillows in hotels. Nice bathroom with essentials, black out curtains. Everywhere clean and nice. There was a strange cleaning odor, but it is what it is and you soon got used to it. I loved being a 5 minute drive to downtown where I’m sure would be much more expensive. Would definitely recommend and use this hotel again if I need a stop along 101.
