"The room and the grounds were exceptionally clean and well manicured, the staff at the front desk was super cool and helped me with using pre paid cards for the payment. The housekeepers and groundskeeper were super nice and were very helpful and professional. The location of the hotel was very nice, easy access to the beach, shops and fine dining. The pool was very clean and heated, they also had a hot tub. Avila Beach is a great place for home base to access Pismo Beach, Cambria, Hearst Castle and San Luis Obispo. Bob Jones trail is a great walk or bike trail, just another bonus for the area. "

"A Hidden Gem with Stunning Views and Peace I discovered this place by chance back in 2020, and it has been my go-to spot ever since. Whenever I’m in the Avila Beach area, I always try to stay here, especially during the fall and winter months. The Highlights: The hotel is nestled on a hill, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect destination. It’s the ideal place to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the calm atmosphere. A Few Things to Note: It’s worth mentioning that the property is currently undergoing some updates. The lobby is under renovation, and the restaurant is closed at the moment. Some areas feel a bit dated (classic style), but everything else is fully functional and well-maintained. Despite the construction, the soul of the place remains the same. It’s still my favorite peaceful retreat, and I will definitely be back!"
