"Vittorio could not have been more friendly and courteous. From the moment we got there, he made us feel right at home. The place is centrally located in Scalea - very convenient. It is a beautiful B&B - our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. In the morning, we had a delicious breakfast - made to order. It was truly a wonderful experience staying there and we highly recommend it."

"The hotel is decent and recently renovated. However, it’s clear that the original building had much greater potential than what was achieved after the renovation.
Unfortunately, we were quite unlucky during our stay. A rave took place about 50 meters from our window and lasted until 3am. The hotel did not offer any compensation for the disturbance."

"Absolutely amazing property. This was the last stop on our 5 week tour of southern Italy and Sicily, and a perfect way to end our trip. Our room was beautiful, super comfortable and well appointed, stepping right out onto the patio with infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Staff and owner Sergio were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with fresh cooked to order options.

"We had a wonderful stay at Al Vecchio Pioppo the place was spotless and beautifully designed. The owners took extra time to tour us around and shared history of the area and other spots for us to explore in Italy. They also made us an authentic Italian meal which was absolutely amazing. The owners definitely went above and beyond to make us feel right at home! Breakfast included was also excellent. We will definitely recommend this beautiful B&B to friends and family. "
