"Very clean with an eco-friendly vibe, perfect for a week-long stay. The view was great, and the pool was a nice bonus. The laundry room was exceptionally clean and easy to use once we downloaded the app. One thing to note: the driveway into the parking garage is very steep and can feel a bit treacherous (a delivery truck actually got stuck while we were there), but there is also street parking available. Overall, the staff was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Will definitely stay again,...

"We didn’t spend much time at the hotel, but from our limited experience we think it is a very nice hotel. Our flight was delayed by 8 hours, so we didn’t arrive at the hotel until after 1am in the morning, and our Tour company picked us up at 6am. Even at 1am, we were greeted in the lobby and taken to the check-in desk, where we quickly and efficiently checked in. Afterwards, they walked us to our rooms. The rooms were clean and very nice, and the bed was comfortable."

"From the moment we arrived this hotel was a wonderful experience. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a variety of local and traditional dishes to suit everyone with the best coasta rican coffee. Don’t miss the rooftop bar. The rooms were lovely. Right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to everything. They also offer a fair conversion rate from US dollars to colones. Exceptionally clean boutique hotel."

"My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay."
