"Everything was fabulous at Locanda Della Maria The room was spacious with extra pillows and washcloths Weather was against us but we made the most of it Breakfast was delicious and the staff are so welcoming and helpful Laura helped us to maneuver the ferry and how to get to Lugano Switzerland due to Como being flooded and even offered to drive us Did not realize the hotel was 20 minutes walking from the ferry port but we managed Taxis and uber are expensive but there is a bus "

The views were fantastic, the bathroom was huge: not your typically European bathroom (we had the suite), the service great and the breakfast wonderful. We loved the homemade items, the amazing honey and of course the service! I must say, this is a hotel that will require lots of walking up and down the steep hills.
