My grievance is with Expedia, as it should do more due diligence when it comes to there vendors being a certain criteria. This hotel claims to be a 4 star luxury retrest, at best it’s a bed and breakfast, minus the breakfast.

Beautiful converted home to fabulous and unique rooms. Property is superbly decorated in eclectic and rustic style befitting the fabulous grounds amid secluded treed landscape including pond and waterfall. Only negative was a very poorly draining sink. Would totally recommend staying here!

This property was nothing like the pictures. I immediately regretted it when we pulled in. It’s creepy and desolate. I felt like I was invading someone else’s home. It was not welcoming at all. We ended up leaving and staying in town.

Fantastic property, basically in town (less than a mile). Easy parking and picturesque park like setting for beautiful pictures. The only downside is the many stairs. If you have trouble walking or in a wheel chair make sure to request a room on the ground floor. (No elevator). We can highly recommend this wonderful place.

We never saw or talked to anyone at the property from the time we checked-in until we checked out. They leave a sign with your name on it and instructions on what to do. A lot of stairs and hallways made hauling large luggage awkward. They ask you to take your shoes off on entry. Carrying shoes and hauling luggage was even more awkward. It is easy to slip on the stairs in stocking feet. If you don’t give 48 hours notice you cannot have breakfast. For a boutique hotel they could over some sort of personal touch. Fresh cookies/pastries or hot chocolate/coffee. We felt a little like an imposition than a welcome guest. Other than that, the property was unique and fun, the rooms were clean. The grounds were nice and the view beautiful,

I rented the room for my neighbors as an anniversary present. The room they got was not the room they wanted nor the room I thought I was renting, based on the website. My neighbors enjoyed their stay but is was disappointing to rent a room that was different than what they wanted and what the website showed . The room was supposed to have a jetted tub in their room, not a hot tub outside.

Interesting that some hotels seem to be going to a VRBO way of checking in. GREAT atmosphere, comfy beds, extremely quiet neighborhood. For some reason they seem to have eliminated any for of breakfast, which they used to have. Otherwise a great place to stay.
