We had an issue with the room they gave us as smelled like mildew or sewer smell. Front desk was excellent in trying to get us another room immediately. The common areas were nice and clean only other issue was pool is closed due to upcoming renovations which was disappointing as that was one reason we booked there.

Comfortable and clean. Front desk lady was very nice. Great breakfast. We had a much needed restful stay. Also we were able to bring my Molly dog. She was gifted a bowl and a nice toy. That was extra special.

We arrived after midnight from Florida for an overnight stay before completing the rest of journey. The shower was hot, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. Perfect to rejuvenate.

Not satisfied with customer service
My nephew made the reservation for Sanford however when I went to check in as I am 79 and took me longer for holiday traffic, I check in at 830pm to find out it was made for Sanford NC and not Sanford, FL. So the clerk would not call the other location or make the correction so When I was able to get through I was advised I needed to contact hotels.com. I called them and they stated this was not their fault and because I was checking in so late I would need to pay one nights amount. I dont believe this is far as we have booked multiple times with hotels and had no issues. I was going to visit my 89 year old friend in hospice who actually passed away today on my drive back. Was just an added stress, and my nephew advised it did not say Sanford NC. Only said Sanford and did not really know there was one in NC as we just moved there and lived in Florida all my life . And to top it off the front desk person was very rude to me and would not help at the location in Sanford FL. So that was an added stress I had to deal with and at 79 it got me so frustrated when they could have taken a few minutes to explain everything and it was not busy at check in

Hello. Thanks for the review, however your issue is with Sanford, Florida and not Sanford, North Carolina. Sorry for any issues you may have experienced with them. Please come and see us if you are ever in NC.

Hotel may probably be ok, but attention to details was severely lacking. Bed was made perfectly, but half cup of coffee and empty plate left on bedside table. Half bottle of water, half a candy bar, and boxes of pop tarts left on coffee bar. People above had dogs running and playing catch , I complained noise stopped, until they put dog in crate, then the tail wagging against the crate until 11:30. If you allow large dogs, put them on the ground floor. Hire a cleaning supervisor to check behind lazy maids.

I based all my answers on the staff, check in, and the room. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so there is construction dust in the unfinished areas, which included the lobby. But, the staff was excellent. She even came to my room to help me figure out the remote. The room is clean and crisp. Great experience so far.

A really great hotel all around. Rooms are very comfortable with great beds/linens. The staff is super friendly and VERY pet friendly - giving us a bowl, ball, treats and bags for our dogs. They also provide a cheat sheet for local vet resources, if needed. The bathrooms have wonderful Dove amenities and loads of towels. The hotel was under renovation but we heard nothing at all. The staff were very friendly and went over an above to welcome us and help with any request.

They forgot to clean our room on the third night The hotel is under renovation, and there is construction going on throughout the hotel which meant there’s a lot of noise always were a bad shape the room was in worship

Very nice staff, clean. They are renovating, we got a newly renovated room which was nice. The only downfall was, we were out of our room from 6 A.M. to 2P.M. We were in our room for 40 minutes from 2-2:40, to get changed. That was the only time they came to turn the room over. So we made our own beds and just took the used towels down to the maids. We were out of our room again until 11 PM that night. It would have been great to have the room turned over, but I understand how everyone is understaffed and bad timing for us!
