"The location of the hotel is ideal in the La Rambla. It's also a short walk to the oldest market in Barcelona as well as major metro lines. We did not add breakfast to our stay since there are oodles of choices within walking distance of the hotel. Room we stayed in were cleaned and functional. La Rambla is a noisy area; however, a rumbling sound from the subway every few minutes can be problematic for some sleepers. We were on the fourth floow and not sure if this happens on higher floor, check with hotel. Big caveat, there are major construction work around La Rambla venue at this time. This will add extra noise and dust level during the day time. By the scale of it, this can last for many more months. "
