"We stayed at Hotel Balneari Termes Orion for 3 nights at the end of May 2026 to attend the wedding of a friend who got married close by. Friendly, helpful staff, who were very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is great, with lots of options, worth spending the extra money. Lovely cocktails at the bar too. The rooms were great - good size, comfortable bed, air con worked really well and large, powerful shower. Lovely pool, with lots of sun loungers and umbrellas. You get a towel voucher...

"Unfortunately someone entered our room while we were getting changed as they were given a key card thinking it was there room. This was a huge staff error and as soon it happened I went downstairs to talk to the staff who really didn’t understand the seriousness of the situation. We were two travelling females, getting changed & one of us pregnant. The staff said “don’t worry Girona is one of safest cities”. This wasn’t about Girona being safe but a staff mistake that wasn’t being taken serious....

"Property was a nice walk to the local beach and restaurants. Pool was nice and plenty of sun beds. Close to shops which is ideal and plenty of free parking around outside. Staff were all polite and helpful when required."

"Les 4 étoiles sont méritées pour l’extérieur où le cadre est exceptionnel. L’intérieur des logements n’est pas un 4 étoiles. Le personnel est très sympa Bémol : les cartes d’accès n’ont pas fonctionnées par 3 fois le petit déjeuner mériterait plus de fruits du vrai jus d’orange. Un peu plus de discipline à la piscine faire respecter les règles aux enfants bruyants qui sautent en permanence alors que c’est interdit. Le séjour y a été agréable "

"The staff of the hotel are wonderful and helpful. Disappointed in the hotel restaurant As staff never smile or say hello also the evening menu we had was a disappointment too. The breakfast in the hotel is fabulous and the rooms spotless as is the hotel. Pool is great with plenty of shade under the trees. We have returned to this hotel many many times and hope to do so again. Thank you to the reception staff for the friendly welcome."

"El Porxo is a beautiful home/bed and breakfast in a quiet neighbourhood about 20 mins walk (5 mins bus or drive) outside the city centre. The neighbourhood has good restaurants and shops. Hosts are wonderfully welcoming and the breakfast is incredible. "

"If you read the website, the hotel state to offer breakfast, lunch and diner. That is NOT TRUE. No lunch during weekdays. We made a long trip to get to the hotel and expect to eat lunch. Not get in the car again. The quality of the local restaurants is "not up to international standards". We drove to two restaurants in villages which were given by the reception. In the second we decided to eat something. People only speak catalan; hard to communicate. It causes much irritation which is...
