"For the price we paid for one night, there should have been a microwave in the room. The pillows were gargantuan and not comfortable. Way too big; at least we should have options for a more comfortable, smaller pillow. Not unreasonable to ask. The TV is difficult to manage. The air conditioner should be easier to manage."

"The front desk personnel were really good, but the housekeeping service was a disappointment. The room was quite spacious and fairly nice, but it lack at least the basic amenities. No simple complimentary lotion, assorted teas, etc. I think this part reflects on the housekeeping service. The plus side of the hotel is the front desk personnel. They were very friendly, accommodating and professional. The hotel should review their housekeeping services. One area of deficiency should not affect the overall performance of the company (Hyatt Place hotel)."

"We had the best stay! Check-in was great with Connor. He found us a great room on the 3rd floor that was quiet and had a little Juliette balcony that allowed us to step outside and enjoy a nice view of Santa Barbara. The property was beautifully maintained and the room was clean and felt newly renovated. The continental breakfast was bountiful and varied with great coffee! A 5-minute walk to the beach made it just perfect!"
