"The re-model is very nice. Rooms are a little dark but that is the vibe. Bed was comfortable. State St side was a bit noisy but we were warned! Loved the bath products and the kettle/coffee set up were a nice touch. Front desk staff was very helpful. "

One of the things we loved most was the personal touch—they texted us before our arrival and throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. The service felt so thoughtful and attentive. The location couldn’t be better—it’s just steps from the beach, and the beach-view suites are absolutely gorgeous. Waking up to that view made our trip extra special. We can’t wait to come back! "

"We selected the Sandpiper based on reviews, location to the airport & price. Check-in was easy and there was someone there to take our keys when we checked out at 3:30 am! The room was clean & comfortable. The mattress was comfortable. Appreciated the small round table with two chairs and the upholstered chair to relax. TV was easy to use. Liked being able to park right in front of our downstairs room to unload & load our suitcases. Felt safe. Is conveniently located to multiple restaurants (we ate at Harry’s Plaza Cafe) and a shopping mall with Chaucer’s Book Store and a grocery store. Three other perks are a pool, an elevator and included breakfast. If we need another Santa Barbara hotel, we would definitely stay here again. "
