"It’s a very decent three star hotel, family-friendly and good size rooms."

"We found the hotel amazing. Check-in was easy and the staff took time to explain everything to us. Our room was spotless. The room was cleaned everyday and what impressed me was the shower gel and conditioner was checked and topped up which rarely happens at other hotels. The main restaurant was also clean and well laid out. As soon as you enter and choose a table, a member of staff comes over to check if you want water, wine or both. Beer is also available. The meals are amazing. Thete is such a variety for everyone and for me, the quantity was excellent. The bar was well stocked and my wife tried every cocktail they offered. Tea and coffee is available all day as are soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits. The indoor pool is great and my wife and I had a massage which we really enjoyed. I loved it was on the sea front as we could go for walks after our evening meal. We didnt use the outside pool, but did use the pool bar, which was great. I genuinely would recommend this hotel to anyone. Taxi's into town were about €8 - €10, using Uber. We used the free shuttle bus into town and Uber back. We enjoyed it so much, we've decided to return next Easter. Thank you everyone at RIU Madeira for making our stay such a wonderful experience. "

"Hotel exceeded our expectations for a family holiday. The Views is so well set up for kids, our sons loved the playroom, outside playground and the variety of activities put on for kids every day. The family suite was clean and modern and had everything we needed (even hair straighteners!). Staff were all friendly and helpful, and could assist in multiple languages."

"A few shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Room was huge- walk in shower, kitchenette, sitting area. Would have preferred a double bed instead of two singles.mattress was too hard for me. Breakfast was plentiful. Lots of sun terraces and access to the sea. I would absolutely recommend this hotel. "

"Unfortunately I would say our experience wasn’t great. The balcony door was broken and when asked to have our room switched she told us not to worry it’s safe. Being that we were on a girls trip. We didn’t feel safe at all and the balcony was on the first floor. So people can easily just walk right it. That ruined the trip it self. The space it self was clean and huge. Very roomie but that situation didn’t allow us to sleep and we had put chairs and table by the door not that would have much but to prevent someone from coming in. Unfortunately I was not impressed that they didn’t switch rooms for us as that would have made the experience better but we couldn’t get any sleep. "

"This place is terrible. Not enough staff, unhelpful staff (no offer to help with luggage etc.), check in process was slow, room was unclean and it’s run down. Just a weird vibe and I’d never stay here again. "
