Servicio excelente,calidad puede mejorar
Hay que tener mucho cuidado con la calle a la entrada del hotel, mucha piedra y una nos rajó la llanta. El servicio es excelente, a las instalaciones les falta algo de mantenimiento y cuidado a lis detalles. Mi cuarto tenía un microhondas, refri, lavadero,coffe maker y algunos utensilios básicos pero no hay toallas de papel o un limpión, tampoco una esponja o jabón de platos, la refri estaba apagada por lo que al regresar al cuarto teníamos un gran charco de agua del hielo que puse en el congelador. El entorno es muy lindo, jardines preciosos.

Hôtel d’étape
Hôtel d’étape avec le minimum de confort. Le Wifi est très aléatoire comme la douche. Je me suis retrouvé un avec un filet d’eau et j’ai dû attendre que l’eau revienne. Les groupes ne sont pas bien gérés. Nous nous sommes retrouvés à déjeuner dehors car des personnes d’un groupe avait décidés de prendre notre table.

Dear PhilippeWe appreciate your comments. They allow us to learn and improve. A new hot water system -solar panels and electricity- is now been installed (it will be the 4th one working in our hotel). It is also true that the groups do not respect the signals in the tables (where we clearly mark the corresponding room numbers) and this creates problems.More employees are needed to guide them.Best regards.

Stunning Views, Very Comfortable
A great friendly welcome we stayed here as we had visited Irazú volcano and Turrialba volcano as well as Guayabo national monument. Making a trip from one to the next…. Do not try to drive to Turrialba if you don’t have 4x4, local people told me the road, which I drove almost to the end, was FATAL… anyway that’s just a tip if that’s your plan. The hotel, lodge was fantastic. Our room spacious, comfortable and all we needed for an overnight stay, and womdeviews of the mountains around and a view of Turrialba Volcano behind us. Evening dinner was tasty and plentifully enough and enjoyed by all. We made use of the bar before dinner and played cards in the lounge area in the lodge. Travelling around a country there’s never enough time spent in one place, this place I wished we had spent a couple more days in. Thank you ❤️

Great place for a remote accommodation by Turrialb
the location is remote. the grounds are well-maintained and full of flowers. The weather did not cooperate with us so there was no view of the volcano. We had dinner at the Lodge because we arrived late and did not want to go explore other options and the food was great. A great option to stay close to Turrialba. I would recommend it.

Great property, you can tell it's very well ran. Staff where extremely friendly and personable and the food was great. The rooms were remarkably clean. They serve a nice dinner that although is not very fancy was very good for a very reasonable price. They have a bar right in the lobby and the drinks are reasonably priced. The breakfast the next morning was great. We were only there for one night so we didn't really get a chance to explore much of the trails around. It's right off the main road and easy to find even at night with gps.

Super hôtel d étape, jardin magnifique avec vue superbe. Belle et confortable chambre. Repas (entrée, plat, dessert pour 23$) ou à la carte choix entre 2 plats, 2 entrées et 2 desserts. J ai adoré cet endroit.

Very nice location one must know not to use Google if driving to this hotel on their own contact the hotel for proper directions or else you’ll end up in a coffee plantation this place is beautiful the owner was very nice and the food was good

Liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft
Schöne Unterkunft mit liebevoll dekorierten Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück. Schöner Garten mit vielen Vögeln. Einziger Negativpunkt: Für die doch kühlen Nächte waren mir die Decken nicht warm genug. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Couldnt ask for a better place to be our last two nights in Costa Rica! Property was beautiful, staff was friendly, food was good. Two volcanos practically in the backyard! Unbelievable. Highly recommend

En esta fecha el Hotel estaba lleno y el cliente recibió una habitación para discapacitados en el primer piso. Comprendemos que no haya sido de su agrado pues no es una habitación normal. Tiene un baño con puerta corrediza grande, rampa de ingreso y todas las facilidades para silla de ruedas. Debo también decir que el cliente reservó y pagó una habitación sencilla, para solamente un huésped y que el hotel, como cortesía´, no cobró la diferencia. Tambien debo decir que la esposa de este cliente había hecho una reserva para el 11 de febrero la cual canceló en la misma fecha. Nada cobramos por esta cancelación y más bien ayudamos a la señora Lucy Morales a que Expedia devolviera a ella el monto pagado con tarjeta de crédito. Fuimos muy gentiles con estas personas.

Tolle Lage zwischen Turrialba und Irazu
Tolles Hotel mit grandioser Lage, sehr freundliches Personal (Fisch statt Poulet auf Wunsch und ich durfte Cheminee anzünden). Wir hatten etwas Pech, weil gerade der Parkplatz ausgebaut wird und die Baumaschine Lärm macht. Viele Gruppenreisenden, die dann auch etwas lauter sind beim Essen.

Really nice hotel with great views and large rooms. The owner and staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Definitely a good choice over conventional Marriott or Hyatt properties.

Hotel has an amazing view of Turrialba Volcano, valley and mountains around. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Place is cozy. In my case food was not as good as it could be. Highly recommended if you visit the area.

We can visit the river, the walking trails, have a hike in the sorroundings full of nature. The place has a beautiful 360 view. There's many birds around. It's really close from some other exciting places like the volcano, indigenous monument and some restaurants like Haras.

Excelente estancia cerca del volcán Turrialba
Excelente hotel con buenos servicios. Los exteriores están muy bien cuidados. La habitacion era espaciosa y cómoda. Desayuno exquisito. Tambien dan cenas porque el hotel está apartado del pueblo de Santa Cruz de Turrialba y no es fácil encontrar un restaurante cerca. Muy recomendable.

Would definitely recommend!
We came in late, called number at the sign. English speaking woman with friendly voice picked up saying somebody would come in 10 minutes. We only waited 8 minutes. At checkin already, we were positively surprised with friendliness and helpfulness of who we assumed was owner. He also helped us to decide which actions to take next day (without any profit for him). The hospitality and helpfullnes made it an awesome stay. Oh... and the rooms... quality of rooms equaled or exceeded expectations, based on price... :) If we're ever back in area, we're going to revisit!

Wonderful Facility in the Guayabo Area
Wonderful host, beautiful room, excellent view of the valley below except for the clouds/rain. 4x4 pretty much needed to access. Fine dinner, saved us from leaving the property at night. Very much a lodge, in the sense of trails and viewpoints, as well as fine rooms. Visited the Guayabo National Park, but quickest waze road from there to here was mostly gravel.
