Staff was nice. Showerhead in the assigned room was broken so just opted to downgrade stay in any available room. Needs more maintainance on all amenities. Too pricey for the experience

Neglected
In a word... Neglected. The facility as a whole is in much need of repair. Not just the thatched roofs of the villas, but the wood rot on the eves as well as much of concrete that has broken away from the rusting rebar. The staff was courteous and location was quiet. The entrance to the resort is not clearly marked so is easy to miss. Swimming pool is small, easy to mistake as a koi fish pond. Wi-Fi only accessible outside on grounds or lower level of the villa, not inside the villa. Villa appeared clean, though still managed to contract HFM Disease, had to cut our stay short because of needing medical attention on mainland. Resort refused to reimburse/refund for unused days. In the end, a not so romantic, romantic retreat. Will not be returning.

We are undergoing repair to serve our guests better. With regards to your disease, may i know where did you contracted your HFM? Coz we were informed by your companion that you were already sick (diarrhea) way before you arrived in our resort. Nevertheless, I hope that you are feeling better now and somehow the first aide we provided you (i bought floracel probiotic and electrolite drink) helped. We appreciate your review it helps us do better.

We were on the beach the best views inside and out watched the sunrise through the wall of windows every morning

The resort is nice and secluded. It is within walking distance from the ferry and the the town if you chose. The property is well maintained and the lodges are spacious and comfortable. Some items could be upgraded but overall, the next time I go to Bantayan I will once more stay at Hoyohoy Villias.

A more secluded beautiful resort with very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed our nightly stroll to the touristy MJ Square either along the beach or along the road. Highly recommend if you want a bit more solitude.

Nous avons quitté le restaurant sans avoir mangé ,4 chats sous la table ,le serveur s’est engagé En disant qu’ils les enfermaient en vain .insectes dans la chambre (Iules ). Un accès dans la boue ,le chemin inondé ,aucune réaction pour combler par quelques cailloux .Heureusement une seule nuit car c’est lamentable ,les personnels dévoués n’ ont pas pas les moyens de compenser le manque de présence de la direction . Very relaxing and and has big open spaces. Not a lot of people walking by the beach which makes the area relaxing. Only downside I saw that its 5 minutes by car to Santa Fe center where the good restaurants are.

Chambres propres et literie au top. Piscine vraiment petite et la plage de l’hôtel n’est pas nettoyée... plastiques et algues partout. Pour le prix un petit coup de râteau le matin à marée basse ne ferait pas de mal ! Le petit déjeuné est hors de prix (375 php). Personnel agréable.

Keine Sitzgelegenheit am Zimmer , beim Frühstück Fliegenatacke und jeden Tag hat etwas anderes gefehlt am 4. Tag kein Kaffee mehr ! Nach 4 Tagen immernoch kein SMB Pilsen , Strand nicht so toll nichts um zu Schwimmen , Oersonal macht nur das nötigste , Zimmer wurden jeden Tag geputzt und Handtücher gewechselt ! Keine aufhänge möglichkeit für kleidung und Handtuch draussen vor dem Zimmer. Für Raucher keine legale möglichkeit zu rauchen ausser am Strand ! Was wirklich fehlt ist ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer ! War ok , würde es nicht mehr buchen !!!

I like the quietness and privacy of the place. The price of the food is affordable and taste delicious. The staff has good service. I just don't like the white curtain. Maybe you can opt to a thicker and dark in color. Definitely we'll be back if time permits.

Room was nice, clean. Outside personal shower was awesome. Outside grounds did live up to the photo on line and the pool did not even look clean. Bch was filthly and liter with trash washed up from the tide. They should least have a bch detail

The entire villa looks great. It’s instagrammable. The set-up is unique and elegant at the same time. The staff are very accommodating, polite, handle conversation well, honest, and attend to your needs quickly. Excellent experience

Es ist eigentlich schade, dass man das Resort so hat runterkommen lassen. Von all dem, was mal im Internet zu sehen war, ist nicht sehr viel übrigebleiben. Ich habe den Eindruck bekommen, dass man es so "am Leben erhält" und das Geld rauszieht. Unser Raum war recht gross, zwei grosse Doppelbetten, ein kleines Sofa, ein offenes Regal mit Kleiderstangen. der Fernseher auf einer alten Staffelei, leider kein kleiner Tisch oder Stuhl. Dafür war das Bad eine Überraschung. Die Dusche würde jedem 5Sterne Hotel zur Ehre gereichen. Wand und Boden mit schwarzem Holz getäfelt, rundherum Kieselsteine als Abfluss und eine supermoderne Armatur mit Regendusche. Desgleichen das Waschbecken. Man sollte Seife mitbringen. Die zwei Häuser stehen am Weitesten vom Strand entfernt, was den Vorteil hat, dass man vom Nachbargrundstück nicht mit Karaokegegröle gestört wird. Selbiges wohl nur am Wochenende, wenn der Schreihals frei hat. Ansonsten ist es schön ruhig. Manchmal kommt ein Sportflugzeug rüber, ist also nichts für Hysteriker. Mich hat's nicht gestört. Die Küche ist gut und die Portionen sind reichlich, auch beim amerikanischen Frühstück. Die Bedienung, zwei junge Frauen, eine nett und freundlich, die Andere äusserst zurückhaltend, fast unfreundlich wirkend. Der Rest des Personals ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In der Umgebung sind keine Restaurants, man muss mit dem Taxi oder Auto die Strasse langfahren. Achtung, am Strand sind Korallenfelsen, an denen man sich verletzen kann!

Happy there
Location made you feel like you have your own beach, I didn't like that they went in my room when I had the don't disturb sign on door. They saw us leave and went in to clean, I had my money and jewelry out as well ass all other belongings. Nothing was missing.

The staff was very nice and the food was good. They also were very helpful in cooking some fresh fish/seafood for us. It was a nice place to relax.

Location just OK, a little too close to Ferry terminal with no shops or restaurants close by especially as breakfast was not included in the price. Staff were excellent Had to spend extra money to travel to and from Restaurants every day due to the food offered being to expensive within the Hotel Linen needs replacing , very well worn out and stains on pillow cases and towels

The location was great as it is close to the ferry and only a couple minute trike ride to the food square/night life. The room itself could use a few repairs (cracks in the exterior doors, which allowed mosquitoes in). The staff was very helpful and the food was very good!

Stay was comfortable They have no menu,only written on I pad. Ask the coffee made fresh,otherwise it can be brewed half hour ago When freshly made,it is ok. Friendly service

Tranquil but very close to the ferry port so the beach isn’t the best but a short walk down the beach and there are plenty of other beaches to park yourself. 10 min walk to the town where you’ll find a supermarket, stalls and places to eat. However, there were 2 nights of street raves, one which ended at 4am but easily caught up on rest during the day on the beach. Warm, clear sea and much needed to cool down from the 31 degree heat. I found the Resort staff to be really friendly & accommodating.

The Villas were within a 10 minute walk from the Ferry terminal. The rooms are spacious and nice. Very functional Comfort Room!

Staff was always cleaning room daily. Only issue was toilet was need of proper repair I room, as I had to watch and openntank a number of times to manually allow filling and stopping fill of tank.

各部屋はコテージ風で、個性的なデザインで楽しめる点は良いと思う。 食事をするところも本当にこじんまりしていてた。ただ、家具が古いのは構わないが、メンテナンスがよくないので、心からゆっくりくつろげる状況ではなかった。特に、寝る時は、少し不安な材料がいくつかあったので、女性の一人旅には、向かいない。

Under construction beach what beach terrible beach
Under construction ,,,,beach what beach terrible beach, tried to get an upgrade , paid for a upgrade room but did not receive. Ended up moving to a different hotel for the last two nights. Way better resort. Very disappointing . Every time we would open our front door there was construction workers looking in. The beach was filthy. Could not lay on the sand or swim.
