Right on the beach!!!

Nice, but dated hotel. They have done a great job on the maintenance. The place was almost empty when i stayed. Great staff, nice food Tiny pool Ice cold AC

Loved this place. Simple and more than you expect for what you pay. Nice little breakfast spot nearby on the beach. Service was great from the staff. You'll have to renew wifi access almost every day at the reception. Trips into Santa Marta proper are about 5 USD and 20 mins. Would come back here. Cheers.

The location is great! Staff were mostly friendly but check-in was slow. Rooms were clean. The rest was not so great. Rooms and equipment are not well maintained. Broken tile, broken handles on shower faucet and electrical tape fixes on iron and hair dryer. There were small ants all over the room. The worst was the noise. There is a sitting area in the middle of the rooms. This is a motel with room doors adjacent to the exterior. One group (like 30 people) sat in the adjacent common area until 230 am one night and the night before New Year’s Eve we were unable to sleep due to noise and it didn’t end until 530 am. Wish I could post photos of the poor maintenance. We would never stay here again. It’s really sad because the location is great but management clearly is not spending any money to keep the property functioning well.

Wonderful stay at TAMA hotel Santa Marta. Our room was large and comfortable with good air conditioning. The hotel is right on the beach with beautiful sunsets. Good restaurant with fresh food and good prices. Staff was kind and helpful. Not a lot of stores or restaurants close by, but easy to get taxi to shopping center. We came for a weekend and ended up staying two weeks! Muchas gracias

Los desayunos estaba muy buenos y fresco, el check in un poco lento pero nos resolvieron, las facilidades le hace falta un poco más de mantenimiento pero la limpiezas es buena. Tiene una buena accesibilidad a la playa con una vista hermosa, en fin es una buenas estadía para estar en la playa. Las observaciones nuestras no fueron impedimento para disfrutar de ellas.

Hotel 2 estrellas, básico.

Es un hotel dos estrellas, no ofrece mayores comodidades. El administrador es muy querido pero la verdad es un hotel muy básico, las duchas son tipo eléctricas entonces se ven los cables, no hay buena presión. Las toallas estaban manchadas entonces no me dió sensación de limpieza. En la almohada encontré pelos. La habitación que te muestran como estándar no es esa , es la estándar plus así que ojo porque le pueden dar una más sencilla a lo que cree. Realmente la estándar es muy básica y pequeña. Es un hotel que ya tiene sus año, el ascensor huele a húmedo y la llave de entrada a la habitación no servía. No ponen toalla de manos, así que me tocó pedir una adicional. Si se va a quedar una/dos noches en Santa Marta h no tiene plata. Esta es una buena opción porque el ambiente es agradable en las noches.

En general muy regular. Deben trabajar más en el mantenimiento del hotel y sus instalaciones, los aires acondicionados muy regulares en su funcionamiento y mega ruidosos, la recepción del hotel súper calurosa y sofocante tanto para los empleados como para los visitantes, máquina dispersadora de alimentos y agua no funcionó en toda la estadía, el servicio del restaurante es regular y cierra muy temprano, la llegada al hotel es fatal, el personal muy atento y súper pendiente para tratar de solucionar los impases del hotel pero muchos de los inconvenientes se les salen de la mano. La salida a la playa compleja con los partidos de boli de playa en toda la puerta y a la altura del restaurante. La limpieza e higiene de las habitaciones muy bien lograda, el ascensor súper deteriorado, muy poca opción de frutas para el desayuno, les falta tostadora para el pan

Un buen momento para descansar

Cuando se hizo el check-in se reporto que la Caja Fuerte no funcionaba y nunca fue el de mantenimiento a solucionar. Se generó expectativa por las actividades de la Semana Santa, tanto en la mañana, tarde o en la noche... pero resulta que no se realizaban las actividades por lo que en nuestro plan familiar no se pudo disfrutar de torneo de billar, domino o la de Tarzán por citar algunas... ya que al momento de proceder no estaba la persona encargada de la experiencia... tampoco hubo mucha difusión de las mismas salvo la hoja de recomendaciones dada en el Check-In o la publicada en la caja del restaurante. Con respecto a la habitación excelente camas cómodas, un punto a validar es tema de la presión del agua, aunque se detecto que la bomba del sanitario estaba obstruida y lo arreglaron en el momento. El servicio de restaurante algo costoso para lo que no se incluía (almuerzo/cena) salía mas barato ir a comer a otros sitios o pedir domicilio. El area del bar con vista a la playa espectacular pero los empleados poco atentos a la gente que se encuentran para ofrecer servicios. La vía de acceso toca pensar en pavimentar teniendo en cuenta que hay varios hoteles alrededor.
