"The room was small but adequate. We had some confusion with the billing of our room, but with some effort the staff were able to correct their error. There is an extra resort fee at this hotel and I have never been able to figure out what you get for that. The hotel doesn't have anything that is not standard at most hotels. You can walk to the beach/pier from this hotel, but it is a long walk so most of the time we took car hires to get where we needed to go. We have stayed here several times because it is a reliable hotel in a safe and quiet area and is not as expensive as some hotels in Santa Monica."

"THE HOTEL IS IN AN EXCELLENT POSITION IN WEST HOLLYWOOD WITH ATTRACTIONS CLOSE BY AND UNIVERSAL STUDIOS A 10 MINUTE JOURNEY BY CAR OR TAXI. ALL STAFF AT THE HOTEL WERE HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND KIND. THE FOOD AT THE HOTEL IS VERY GOOD. THEY HAVE A COFFEE/BAKERY SHOP FROM EARLY MORNING AND DURING THE DAY AND AT NIGHT A GOOD MENU TO CHOOSE FROM. THE HOTEL ROOMS ARE SLIGHTLY DATED COMPARED TO THE REST OF THE HOTEL BUT THEY ARE VERY CLEAN AND THE BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE. THE POOL AND POOL AREA ARE VERY WELL MAINTAINED AND THERE IS A BAR/DRINKS AREA WHERE YOU CAN GET SNACKS AS WELL. THE WORLD CUP WAS ON WHEN WE VISITED THE HOTEL AND THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE HOTEL WAS VERY GOOD. WE PAID FOR 2 NIGHTS VALET PARKING AT THE HOTEL WHICH CAN BE QUITE EXPENSIVE. ON THE THIRD NIGHT WE PARKED IN THE MULTISTORY CAR PARK NEXT TO THE HOTEL AND IS WAS SUBSTANTIALLY CHEAPER. IT WAS NOT INCONVENIENT TO GET THE CAR AND BRING IT ROUND TO THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL."
