The place is awesome! It has everything you need and the location is fantastic to go out for a bite, shopping, partying and everything else! You don't have the cliffside views of oĆa or imerovigli but you can still see the ocean and the famous blue domes when walking to a from the hotel. It's tucked behind tholoto restaurant and parking lot right off the main road which makes for easy access and a quiet stay that's close to the action.

The hotel was perfectly located within Fira. A 5 min walk to the restaurants and bars. The hotel was exceptional well maintained and very clean. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The room was large with both a living area, bedroom and bathroom. The quality of the rooms were excellent. Plus your own personal hotel tub. You also have a special view view of the sunrise from the balcony / hot tub area. We would highly recommend staying here.

The receptionist Lou was so friendly and helpful and communication with him was excellent. He even booked our sunset boat tour as we weren't sure what company to book with. The place was very clean, modern and tidy and perfectly located with beautiful views. I would highly recommend staying at these apartments.

I really enjoyed my stay. I had a sea view suite with a hot tub, that may come with every room. The staff were friendly, especially Lou. I really enjoyed my stay and only wish I could have stayed longer. Would definitely visit again. It was in walking distance (7-9 minutes) from the main thoroughfare of Fira without having to be directly in the thick of things. I wish I was there right now!

We stayed 3 days, room was spacious, clean, quiet, had a private jacuzzi and in-room coffee makers and mini refrigerator. It was more like an apartment suit, they didn't have a mini bar or restaurant. Swimming pool was very small but hotel was in a convenient location walking distance to bus, taxi, shopping area and restaurants. Receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Our stay at Altemar Suites was very pleasant.
