This was a dream come true, the hotel had a spectacular view to the caldera and one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen. Peaceful and private, plus the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend 100%. Thank you for this unforgettable experience.

The staff were very nice and the location is great. The property is okay but the room was very dirty. The cleaning staff gave me a dirty towel as a clean one. Once I told the cleaner she point to the corner of the room that had a stain on the floor. I said was this used to clean the floor and she just smiled. I requested a new towel which I did receive sad this was fine. I watched the cleaner on 2 occasions come in to clear the room with no cleaning supplies except a broom. I watched her use the dirty towels that we used and put on the floor one corner. To let the cleaner know it was dirty. I see her use those towels to wipe off the sink and toilet cover. This is what they called cleaning. At no point for the 5 nights we were there did they clean the shower. The bed was also extremely soft and uncomfortable. We requested to beds which the second bed was extremely small and uncomfortable. There were stains on the shower glass. That looked like moulding and stains on the floor. Which they used a garbage can to cover up. We requested another room which we were told the property was full. I’m not sure if that was true or not so I can’t comment on this particularly. We were also told we needed water to drink and brush our teeth. The attendant then said that this would be provided. Which when we followed up on this. We were told this wasn’t told to us. Again the staff were nice and friendly and helpful but the cleanliness was horrible. The location is also convenient to get around.

Tivemos uma experiência razoável no hotel Gizis. O quarto quadrúplo que apareceu na foto foi diferente ao quarto que nos colocaram. Tivemos nossas solicitações atendidas, mas o atendimento da recepção ficou a desejar. O café da manhã foi o mesmo em todos os dias, não teve uma boa variedade. E a logistica de transporte público foi bem difícil.

The only reason to stay here would be the view. The pictures and ratings are deceiving. It was hard going from a five star hotel to this place. There was an issue at check in with whether breakfast was included. (It was most likely an Expedia issue) but the hotel did nothing to compensate for the error. It’s the little things like showers with no shower curtain (water goes everywhere). No facial tissue in the room. No microwave. Our hottub didn’t have a light so it was dark at night. (The tub next to ours had a light.) We were told the hottub would shut off automatically after fifteen minutes. It shut off every 3 minutes. A pain to keep starting it. Not relaxing! Upon check out, I asked for a receipt and was told to get the receipt through Expedia. I’ve NEVER been denied a receipt before with all the bookings I’ve made via Expedia. We stayed in 4 different hotels during our trip to Greece and they all provided me with a receipt except for this place. Probably trying to save money on ink. That was our impression throughout our stay. Trying to cut corners. Things like that. The view of the sunset is spectacular. But there are nicer hotels next door to this place that were nicer. It is located right on the main path which was convenient. 17 minutes walk to the nearest market, All up hill. But doable. There are nicer places. I would not return to this place for the price. Im giving them 2 stars not 1 because of their location and they managed our transfers well. That’s it.

This property is beautiful. The people at the desk couldn’t be any more helpful. The only downside is that you are between the two main cities. It is a far walk. You could take the bus and while the bus is across the street it’s not something with a regular schedule. If you were on a timeline, you are a taxi dependent however, the area is breathtaking and the rooms spotless and comfortable.

Das Hotel profitiert ganz eindeutig von der Lage. Super Blick über die Caldera, mit Sonnenuntergang. Die Einrichtung müsste regelmäßiger gewartet werden. Die Regendusche konnte man nicht benutzen, dann schwamm das ganze Bad. Der private Pool und die Cabana+Sonnenliegen hätten mal wieder eine Restauration nötig. Man muss aber auch sagen, dass der Wind da oben auch mächtig bläst. Größter Kritikpunkt ist das Frühstück. Sehr sehr einfach und lieblos. Für zwei Tage ok, aber nicht für eine Woche. Der Rezeption haben wie die Mängel bei unserer Abreise mitgeteilt. Insgesamt war es dennoch ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Amazing location in between Fira and Oia, but without the crowds and noise. Beautiful caldera views and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend if you are planning to visit Santorini for at least a few days since it’s a good home base to come back to in the evening for gorgeous sunsets, and you don’t need to fight the crowds in Oia!

The jacuzzi was making noice the entire night, we tried switching it off and still it did not stopped. The emergency number given in the room was not working. There was no one to contact and help for this. We could not sleep the entire night and this ruined our stay.

The hotel was nice. The room was wonderful and had great views! The hot tub had some dirt on the floor which I guess was because it was very windy those days but could have been cleaned. The TV in the room was useless as it was not configured correctly to receive satellite signal and the staff was unable to fix it. Breakfast options were sufficient and tasty.

The employees were all very nice. The room was perfect size and clean and the balcony with the hot tub was great! The bed was comfortable too. A huge bonus for me was that you can see the beautiful sunset from the property. No need to go all the way to Oia where it was over crowded. Overall great stay!
