A little diamond in the rough.

It was a rough start for our stay. First, it was hard to get a hold of Olga. We are also playing phone tag trying to reach each other. But we realized when we got there that she was flying solo doing everything she could to make our hotel stay great. She was doing a lot filling in for various roles like receptionist, cleaning, etc. The place has 2 entrances: one facing the coast's main alley and the rear has a gated parking lot. Either way, it was difficult to find the place. When we got there, we had to call her to unlock the gate (chain locked). She did text us but my husband's notification was off. We got there early so she let us store our bags while we explored a little bit. The exterior is very misleading. It doesn't market itself as luxurious. However, the inside of our suite was amazing. We had a balcony view of the coastline which we enjoyed using the jet tub. The inside of our suite was clean, sophisticated, and welcoming. It was big enough for a family of five and we enjoyed our stay. One bathroom needs some cleaning and shower fixtures need to be replaced. The master's one was perfect. The beds were comfy, the breakfast was great and jet tub was a plus. The A/C worked well too. She even got us packed breakfast for early morning flight. I suggest to give this place a try and not be misled by the harsh Google reviews that were years ago. Olga probably inherited a previously problematic property but she's done a great job fixing it up.

The view was superb and the receptionist was extremely friendly. However, she showed up 11 times in one day randomly for various reasons making us unable to “relax.” The sink was broken until right before we left, outside patio had trash on the ground and everything had piles of dirt on it. Couple of lamps had no lightbulbs. The next door restaurant has a door that they use for trash and boxes right beside the “private” patio. The gate to the jacuzzi area does not close or secure so wanderers ended up beside our jacuzzi while we were in it. The staff would walk up to the jacuzzi on the patio with no announcement. There were spiders EVERYWHERE. I have pictures of all of this. For roughly $350 a night it is absurd. Highly disappointed and no one to do anything about it.

This property was very dirty and did not have working amenities. We booked this location for pictures outdoor jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was an inflatable one and did not even work. It ruined our night and experience. Additionally, it was not clean and bugs everywhere. Very disappointed.

イアの目抜き通り沿いという絶好のロケーションにあるコンパクトなリゾート。徒歩1分以内に美味しいレストランが沢山あって選択肢に困らない。宿泊したデラックスアパートメントはジェットバス付きで景色も最高。お世話してくれたリリーさんも親切で、初めてだったけど充実したイア滞在でした。

Choose this hotel because of Jacuzzi facing Oia but, when we got there, it is an inflatable jacuzzi that didn’t work properly. So FAKE/OLD photo on Expedia!! Manager knew it because we showed to him and he simple said “yes, it’s not the same jacuzzi”. Smells mold when you open the fridge compartment. Location is awesome and rooms and bathrooms were great.

As imagens da jacuzzi no quarto são falsas, a jacuzzi é inflável e não funciona. A água estava imunda, cheia de cabelos, e outras substâncias que nem tenho coragem de descrever. Não há nenhuma assistência em inglês, não há ninguém na recepção, apenas a pessoa da limpeza que fala apenas grego e, por mais boa vontade que tenha, não consegue se fazer entender. O hotel cobra um alto valor para oferecer jacuzzi na varanda, e no final não entrega o prometido. As instalações do quarto são medianas, os boxes do banheiro estavam quebrados e não fechavam direito. A piscina do hotel é de fibra de vidro, antiga e sem charme nenhum. O único fator positivo é a localização. Pelo preço que cobram, fiquei longe desse hotel.

The hotel manager Aggios has no sense of responsibility and care towards guests. He constantly lied on issues that were reported and never made any effort to really fix them. I will stay away from this property. I am working with Expedia to get a partial refund for facilities not working as promised.

Great location and gracious hosts

Hotel location was very close to all the major attractions, within few minutes away, checking in and out was a breeze. Hotel manager Penn was very welcoming and nice, also the lady (sorry don’t know the name) who took care of the room was very gracious as well. I have to admit they made my stay very comfortable. I also met another gentleman (I think he is the boss guy) super nice and helpful. Breakfast was nothing fancy but more than enough with fruits, an assortment of breads, pastry, coffee,tea, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again. The only thing was a bit odd was the curtain that was covering my window to the pool was like a shear and anyone can see inside the room from outside, little privacy issue. Other than that everything was great.

有史以來最爛的飯店體驗 網站上的按摩浴缸照片 到了現場卻是充氣橡皮池 這中間旅館對我們漠不關心 沒人通知我們 甚至沒詢問我要不要繼續住這個房型 我就是為了那個按摩浴缸才下訂這房型 結果到了現場看到這個東西 還花了我15000NTD 每一晚 這家飯店不該再被放在網站上 此負責人應該感到羞愧 爛飯店

We booked a room for three people, and the room was unexpectedly large. Location is quite near to bus station. The view from balcony was v nice, we could enjoy our breakfast with Aegean sea view. However, if the plastic swimming pool was removed that would be better, coz it looked quite dirty. Staffs were nice and helpful, however, sometimes the starrs were not around at reception and you had to call them Overall, the hotel is good

The location was much better than expected, going out the back gate put us in the middle of the pedestrian walk where all the restaurants and shop and “life” of the town took place. Out the front gate out is a block from the pick up spot for our day trips and the bus station. The rooftop also provides an excellent view of the bay and the famous sunset. Although the hotel was lax with cleaning, their other services were superior; they allowed us to check in at 8:00 in the morning because we had an early flight in vs the standard 3 pm check in, and their breakfast basket was generous in various kinds of breads, jams and fruits.

La ubicación es buena, y para ser Oia, me parece un buen valor. Habitación amplia y muy bonita. Baño de tamaño normal, pero bien. Tiene un acceso directo al pasillo de la "zona viva", que lleva hacia el lugar en donde se ven los famosos atardeceres (lamentablemente no lo vimos porque estaba nublado). Puedes subir al techo, para buenas vistas. Justo afuera hay varios restaurantes. Hay estacionamiento y cuenta con piscina. Está ubicada como en un pequeño desvío, no tan fácil de encontrar, por lo que hay que ir pendientes. El desayuno es una cesta con frutas y pan. (Poca variedad de comida, porque son más frutas que otra cosa jeje pero abundante). Lo malo es que lo sirven tarde (9:30 am), así que si tienes planes temprano, no incluirá el pan, solo las frutas y agua. No nos brindaron café ni jugo. Nos hospedamos en habitación con vista al jardín y lo único malo es que la puerta es de vidrio y se veía todo desde afuera hacia adentro de la habitación. Sugiero que eso se resuelve simplemente con una cortina oscura. Nos atendieron bien, pero fue muy informal la forma en que funciona la recepción.

We liked the location near perfect. Staff were excellent very friendly and kind. Breakfast in bed was room too. I bumped my head couple time to arched ceiling. We stayed ground floor garden view room a little less privacy but overall it was very good stay.

Das La Maltese hatte kein Zimmer für uns, trotz Buchung Monate im Voraus. Als Ausrede sagte man uns, dass die Buchung durch Expedia nicht durchgestellt wurde. Komischerweise hatte er unsere Buchung in seinem Computer gefunden. Bezahlt wurde ebenfalls Monate im Voraus. Expedia versicherte mir, dass das La Maltese die Buchung per Mail bestätigt hatte. Nach knapp 2 Stunden wurde uns ein Ersatz an der Caldera angeboten. Das Zimmer war gut aber der Blick auf die Caldera bei Weitem nicht so schön wie vom La Maltese. Dies scheint kein Einzelfall zu sein, denn ein anderes Paar, welches kurz nach uns im La Maltese Einchecken wollte konnte ebenfalls kein Zimmer bekommen. Wahrscheinlich wird man als Kunde der nur eine Nacht Bucht einfach rausgehauen und woanders hingebucht. Unverschämtheit. Der Urlaub und die Stimmung war versaut - NIE WIEDER LA MALTESE - Finger weg!!!

Wir möchten ein großes Kompliment an unsere Unterkunft und den erbrachten Service aussprechen. Der Zustand und die Lage waren hervorragend - direkt an der Caldera, Hof mit Pool, Privatparkplatz, Terasse mit einen fantastischen Ausblick auf das Meer, Wirlpool und einen direkten Ausgang auf die Einkaufsstrasse. Jannis war stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer erreichbar. Das Frühstück sehr lecker, für jeden etwas dabei und viel an Auswahl. Das Frühstück wurde uns in das Appartment gebracht. TOP. Der Service war sehr gut. Wir können alles weiterempfehlen. Unser Aufenthalt war unvergesslich schön und bleibt in positiver Erinnerung. Familie Brdar

The view and the location is great, also the service. The guy in front desk y very gentle and nice. The bathrooms were excellent, hot water, nice products, and very fancy. We reserved the suite with hot tub, not the same at the picture, it was 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms. The only complaint is about the cleanliness of the beds, it could improved. We are glad we stayed there.

The location is perfect. You are centrally located in Oia, yet you have complete privacy, with fewer steps to navigate. There are only 2 apartments with a sea view, so request for sure. The proprietor, John, took great care of us. I also enjoyed meeting Angelo. If you need anything, just ask. I would highly recommend this property.
