The hotel was beautiful and the staff there were so helpful and nice. Colin’s and Kristina were easy to reach and were always available to help. They made my experience in Greece great! I would highly recommend this hotel!

We enjoyed our stay and one place we won’t mind revisiting even though we usually prefer to try new places. An additional payment for the heated pool is charged per day ( It’s a must to have as Santorini can get quite chilly , paired with cold winds- the pool was awesome!) Collins & Themis made our stay enjoyable- more so Collins , he is a great chap with a pleasant smile! No place is perfect, things we didn’t like was there is no price on the mini bar items in the room , no menu for room service (think they only offer a free breakfast- which was nice, it’s best to get it by 8am so it’s hot) , the fish that was offered was undercooked and caused me to have an upset stomach and a trip to the pharmacist to get something like Imodium to clear that up. Apart from these little things, it was great and the views were exceptional and issues were resolved quickly and arrived home happy and satisfied with great memories.

The service is top notch, and the staff was exceptional at anticipating and accommodating our questions and requests. Dimitri and the entire hotel staff treated us very attentive, very friendly and highly professional during our stay. Everybody was very helpful. The room, the terrace, the pool – everything was exactly as we has hoped it to be. The view on the caldera is as gorgeous as on the pictures. The breakfast was always served on our terrace, which we highly appreciated. If you want to stay away from the mass tourism in Thera and Oia, Melidonia Suites is the perfect retreat. We will definitely come back.

I am in love with Melidonia! It’s been one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed at. We had a great time. They have amazing personal customer service and were very helpful with us since we had an inconvenience with our flight. They answered to all my emails and were very helpful. The property is a dream! Super clean, the decor is spectacular, the view was breathtaking, the bed super comfy, the private pool is a plus was able to enjoy it as much as we wanted to, the food was delicious they have an amazing chef. They brought up a la carte breakfast everyday which was super delicious and fresh. All the stuff were kind, profesional and super helpful. I loved the personal customer service, I was able to communicate to them at all times, Dimitris helped us with car rental, taxi transport, restaurants and activities recommendations which were amazing. Also, loved all the treats they sent to the room. They took really good care of us and we cannot wait to go back next year.

Wegen einer von Expedia nicht weitergeleiteten E-Mail haben wir unsere Wunsch Suite mit dem großen Pool nicht bekommen. Dimitris hat es sehr leid getan, hat uns ein Komplimentier Abendessen serviert am Pool als Entschädigung. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert. Wir haben uns wie zu besuch bei Freunden gefühlt und nicht nur als Hotel Gäste. Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen mit einer Tollen Aussicht und ist nur Empfehlenswert!

We stayed at Melidonia Suites for a week and it was better than we could have ever imagined! First of all, the location is unmatchable: all of the suites have an amazing view of the wide blue ocean and the rocky cliffs of the Island and - which blew us away the most - the beautiful Caldera Volcano. The whole facility lookd beautiful - it is arranged in a Boho-meets-Nordic style. The suites are clean, new, the tiny details of every room a sight for the eyes. Even your suite is going to be a hightlight! The staff at Melidonia is the nicest, Theodora and Dimitris were very forthcoming, delightful and spoiled is with drinks snd snacks thoroughly. They arranged our transfers, car renting and recommended places in the near area. The breakfast was delicious, all components were carefully chosen and prepared. I‘d recommend getting the greek breakfast and the coffee freddo, but everything was very tasty. Although the area is remote, we’d still recommend booking this place, because the city centre is overcrowded with no privacy whatsoever. Here you have sunsets at the lighthouse, an unmatchable view, two beautiful beaches and short trips to the city, whenever you want to. Of all the places in Santorini, we‘d recommend staying here!

Melidonia Suites was beyond excellent! The location was amazing, away from the crowd however beautifully located! We got to experience the Santorini sunrise. The rooms are new, very clean, comfortable and beautiful! The staff is friendly and accommodating. Yiannis was very nice, he set up our transport, helped us with menus from local restaurants and was just a delightful person. Breakfast was delicious, served fresh and on time every morning (Greek breakfast option recommended). Georgios was also very nice! Thank you to all the staff at Melidonia Suites!!! Our trip to Greece was definitely one of a lifetime. I recommend Melidonia suites to everyone! I will definitely return.

Amazing place with spectacular view

Amazing place to stay - Houses are brand new with private heatet pools and fantastic view overlooking the caldera - service and food is very good - breakfast at your own choise served to your House Every morning - located 10-15 min drive from Fira away from the very touristed areas and very easy to reach both from the harbour and the airport - I highly recommend this place for future stays in Santorini
