Stunning Santorini Stay

We had a wonderful stay! Elizabeth was so pleasant and friendly and a great communicator! The view was absolutely amazing as it’s nestled right in and amongst all of the other white cave houses with views of the sea and beautiful architecture of the blue domed churches! Spacious place with partially shaded patio. They manage the transportation and luggage handling very well! Quintessential Santorini stay!

IMPERDÍVEL

Nossa estadia em Santorini foi perfeita, desde do momento em que chegamos até a saída. A casa onde ficamos é ótima e com tudo que o hospede necessita. Fica em frente a caldeira e tem uma vista maravilhosa. O Sr. Constadino responsável pela casa é muito simpático, fez nosso transfer aero/hotel/aero, além de guardar nossas malas depois do check out até o horário do nosso voo. O rapaz que trabalha com ele Victor também muito educado e simpático carregou nossas malas até a casa. Da varanda da casa pudemos contemplar o nascer do sol em Santorini o que para mim foi tão lindo quanto o famoso por do sol. Enfim tudo maravilhoso, se pretende um dia visitar santorini e se hospedar em um lugar mágico, a Menias Cave House é mais que recomendável.

Pros: good location, amazing views from the terrace, nice space, clean. Cons: property manager wasn't responsive (the provided phone number did not work), place was difficult to find, supplies (coffee, etc.) were not replenished at all during our stay. All in all, it was a good place to stay but wish there was better communication, especially for the amount we paid.

Fantastic location

The location and view is amazing! You are in the middle of the blue domed churches that make every view a postcard in Oia. The hotel is very cute and homey. It was perfect for our family of 5.

Idllic view! Incredible panoramic view from the sitting porch of the caldera. Wonderful facility, excellent air conditioner and wonderful manager Zef who helps set up any excursions. Worth every penny!

Luxury cave!

The rooms are built right into the cliff! The bathroom is at the back of the "cave". You are right amongst the shops and restaurants, yet it is quiet. The view from the patio is magnificent, overlooking the caldera.

這間酒店服務及管理非常之差! Bad hotel! Bad service! 我與家人早在8個月前透個hotels.com預訂這間酒店4晚。預訂過程非常順利，很快收到確認信並完成預訂。我與家人非常期待是次入住。出發前一星期，我與酒店聯絡，酒店聯絡人Zaf確認我的入住，而且還相約好怎樣會面及聯絡。直到入住前一日，Zaf突然電郵給我，內容非常簡單地說拒絕我們入住，而且內容並沒有提及原因。我立即與Zaf理論，對方態度非常差，沒有道歉意思及不負責任，不斷只說替我們換酒店或直接賠償，還推卸責任到另一個從沒聯絡過的同事，叫我聯絡他，這個同事從沒回覆我，只好繼續跟Zaf理論。Zaf給我們換的酒店不是同級，完全不是我們想要的。每日要搬行李換酒店之餘，其中一晚還要將我家人分開到另一間很遠的酒店。最後，Zaf見我們不滿意賠償方案，便態度很差地叫我們直接退錢。我們打長途電話與hotels.com聯絡，欲求解決事情。過程中，hotels.com與Zaf聯絡，Zaf竟說謊，跟hotels.com說頭兩晚有預留給我們，而事實是4晚都拒絕我們入住。我見不對路，最後請hotels.com協助我們退錢。 在此，我對這間酒店及聯絡人非常反感，失望及深表憤怒! 入住前一星期還確認，入住前一日拒絕入住，將我整個旅程給破壞，還要立即尋找可入住的酒店，是多麼痛苦的事。而且態度差，沒有責任感，只想草草了事，隨便地打發我們。 我會保留一切資料和對方的對話及電郵，以證明上述一切全是事實。

Perfect for a true Santorini experience

Everything was great but wanted to write to recommend that, on the webpage, the hosts provide a working email or local phone number (not a Swiss one) and good, detailed walking directions to the property. Since we were already traveling, we didn't get the day-before text from the manager and ended up walking around about 2 hours to find the place. There is also no plaque on the door that identifies it. I realize it is difficult in general to find places in Santorini and it is well worth the effort it took to do to find it!

Best family accomodation in great location

Great location with amazing views from the large veranda. Ideal for families as very large in comparison to near properties. 2 bedrooms, lounge and full kitchen. Serviced every day as well. Couldn't fault it
