This hotel is excellent. My only issue was that someone disconnected the hot water heater and I had to check with the staff before I could get a hot shower. My room had a very good refrigerator and a comfortable bed.

The staff are very accommodating; there was always electricity, which can be an issue in Sao Tome, I believe they have a generator. We walked to the Tamarindos Beach. The grounds are loaded with tropical fruit trees and part of breakfast is served from those trees!!!

I spent a week here, I loved it. A beautiful place in a natural setting. Very quite, the staff are very friendly, the kitchen is very good. The property is very close to one of the best beaches on the island. Perfect place to relax.

Stundenlang bis zu 11h am Stück kein Strom/Wifi weil der Hotelmanager den Strom vergessen hat zu bezahlen! 4Tage lang kein heisses Wasser, weil man den Boiler vergessen hat einzuschalten! Es wird selten gefragt, ob das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll. Essen jeden Tag dasselbe. Täglich morgens 5:30 beginnen die Gärtner mit lauten Schlingfräsen usw. zu arbeiten, es wird Null Rücksicht genommen! Erholung weit gefehlt. Papagei in viel zu kleinem Käfig isoliert gehalten, absolut Tierquälerisch! Kaum jemand spricht Englisch! Sehr grausam im Umgang mit den liebenswerten Strassenhunden, die nur etwas Essen möchten. 2 der Hunde die ich dort fütterte, sind nach meinem Aufenthalt „beseitigt“ worden und können nicht mehr gefunden werden, habe extra jemanden organisiert, welcher mir die Hunde füttert, weil ich diese später nach Europa holen wollte. Sehr enttäuscht von dieser Unterkunft, die einfachsten Dinge kriegen sie nicht auf die Reihe.

Top Unterkunft. Tolles Zimmer und tolle Küche. Ein Hinweis für nicht Portugisischsprechende, nutzt vorab einen Übersetzer, vor ort gibt es kein Handynetz. Es gibt aber Wifi, dafür braucht ihr aber erstmal das Password ;)

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Verständigung erfolgt auf portugisisch oder französisch. Bei Stromausfall gibt es kein Wasser. Zum Glück hat das Hotel ein Notstromaggregat. Dieses wird bei Bedarf gestartet. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Die Lage am Dorfrand von Fischberg gefiel uns super.
