"Wife and I stayed two nights at Hotel Family in mid-October, and had an exceptional experience. The street address is Dejzina Bikica, Sarajevo, but the entrance is actually down a side street at the opposite end of the building, away from Dejzina Bikica. There are several parking spaces facing nose-in along that street frontage. While searching for the entrance we were greeted at the upper end of the facility by Esmir. He cordially welcomed us and guided us to the Registration Counter. ...

"Location is excellent, you can walk to Bascarsija and for a short stay is very convenient.
Parking was not provided and we had to park about 10min away, not big deal as the weather was perfect."

"I liked that the apartment was near old town, however it's up a steep hill, and the streets are very narrow (if you're driving). Be warned! "The room was dirty and stuffy, with no fresh air at all. There were hairs from the previous guest still on the bed sheets, which clearly hadn't been changed. After a 16-hour journey, all I wanted was a hot shower and some sleep, but there wasn't even any hot water. This is truly a place you should not stay at."
