First I will start out with the positive. The pool area was nice. Also, the 2 African American staff were excellent. Very courteous & helpful. The rooms themselves were terrible. I was very disappointed as this was my wedding anniversary. I thought with Hilton name attached it would be nice. It is basically a motel. Upon first entering our room, it smelled like feet. The shower had mold, so we had our room switched. The second room still had a bad odor. The shower was better. The are no dresser drawers to put you clothes. No microwave. Only a small fridge. The continental breakfast is the worst I’ve ever seen. The only protein source was hard boiled eggs. Then on our last day, they were out off eggs😳 I will not stay at this property again, nor do I recommend it!

We did not like how when you walk into your room your beds are right there. Like going into a motel room. Water pressure was not good. Took a while to get hot water. TV kept going in & out and freezing up.

The hotel was not a hotel but a motel... they only had bagels for breakfast there was no hot food. The rooms were very small VERY small. The room was clean but the tub was stained and could use an update... This was just a 3 night get away for us but i would of been a little upset if we'd of stayed longer.

Staff at the facility was top notch. Pool area was very clean. Sub par Breakfast revolved around a bagel & coffee bar. Bed was fair at best. Pillows were the worst I have ever experienced at a hotel. Hilton having their name on this hotel surprises me. I don’t think it’s up to their standards. From people we met there, this used to be a Best Western & the only thing that has changed since it was purchased is the name. No real upgrades to the property.

I stayed at this hotel recently and overall had a mixed experience. The property is quite old and could definitely use some updates, but the bed was very comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. One thing to keep in mind is the breakfast. If you’re expecting a varied or hot breakfast, you might be disappointed. The options were very limited — mainly bagels and hard-boiled eggs, and this was the same throughout the entire stay. In the evenings, it was also difficult to get hot water for tea, as it wasn’t really hot anymore. The coffee available all day long but didn’t seem fresh either. The hotel may suit travelers who prioritize a comfortable bed over modern facilities and breakfast variety, but there’s definitely room for improvement in amenities and food service.

The hotel provides precisely what you pay for: 1. Basic rooms nothing fancy- bed was a little not comfy for my liking and the pillows were not the greatest… I still managed to sleep fine given we spent our days full of activities that sleeping, was no issue (Note, rooms have no noise isolation so you can hear it all)… the room has no slippers nor bathtubs neither have safe. 2. Location- we rented a car so Never used the beach shuttle. Beach (Siesta) was 7min driving and the little village was another 2min… downtown Sarasota was 15-20min driving and St Armand was also another 15min driving Overall good location 3. Service- attention was good. I was able to text and they responded quickly when asked for late check-out …. I didn’t make use of the swimming pool nor tried their complementary breakfast but the section was large and people seems happy with both. The hotel has ice machines on each floor which was helpful. Parking is free and there is plenty of it, we never had a problem. Room service was good New towels every day and bed sheets were changed I think on day 3. Overall good hotel- just good. I guess I was expecting more given the price, especially given the fact that we went off-season. The hotel made feel I was in motel, the outside is not that invited …my only observations are the water pressure is not the greatest (we were on the 4th floor dunno if that matters) and room didn't have a safe which made us carry our valuable belongings at all times.

The filter at the water bottle refill station needed to be changed. The red light was on and the water didn't taste right. The breakfast was good but one day boiled eggs weren't available. Overall the room was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful.
