Great stay at Coconuts Beach Resort

We had a wonderful four days at Coconuts Beach Resort. Beautiful sunsets as we were on the second floor and got some amazing pictures. Very nice pool area. I highly recommend this property and think you would enjoy your stay there as much as we did. We plan on going back next year. Also located close to everything you need. Did not want to leave!!

We were late arriving and the manager made sure we were able to get in our room and everything was ready. The beach was right outside our door and we had everything we needed.

We had a nice time, the weather was mostly good, my only complaint is the condo could use a good cleaning, I had to clean other guests sticky counters and tables, the dust on the lamps had to be a built up of a year or more, the old furniture should be replaced as it was stained, dirty and uncomfortable, I did cut my trip short because the beds were really uncomfortable. But besides all that, I didn't allow it to ruin my trip because the 3 day drive it took to arrive, it just wouldn't have been worth being unhappy. If it was updated and most of all clean for the over $3,000 CAN it cost for 10 days, it would have been appropriated.

Beautiful location beachfront condo. Great stay except for bed sagged, shower grout needed cleaning. A rental should have beds is good condition.

I loved sitting on the balcony and watch the beautiful sunsets. The pool was a delightful temperature and well maintained. The resort itself is located on beautiful Holmes Beach and near great restaurants, shopping centers and museums. Joyce and Karen were great and helpful

Location was amazing!

Waking up right on the beach and the view was amazing! The downside was the bedroom was very uncomfortable and hot! The living room was cool and thermostat was set on 70. Should have been fine but air did not find its way to bedroom. Beds were really hard and uncomfortable.

Right on the beach

Step out the patio door and you're right on the beach. Very nice beach; great sunsets; nice for shell hunters; dolphin watching. We will stay at this place again, but not in room 105. Beds were very hard and creaky. Too warm in the living room in the evening. But we spent very little time in the room. Mostly stayed outside. The rest of the place was very nice and had everything we needed for the week.

Perfect Accommodations

The Coconuts Resort is the perfect beach getaway! This is a condo, not a hotel room and it is amazing. You can walk out the screened lanai to the beach. Trust me, it's worth the extra money to stay in the Gulf view, ground floor condo if you want a fabulous view and easy beach access. I will definitely book here again!!

Ok apartment close to the beach!

Do not call it a hotel! This is an apartment not managed very well, not a hotel, no amenities, you have to go to an office to get toilet paper, no room clean up daily. Terrible

Our room was beyond filthy, so dirty that the toilet seat had brown dirty poop stuck to the hinges that you could tell had never been cleaned, urine stains on the seat. There were dead bugs in the kitchen, a chunk of long blonde hair stuck to the outside of the microwave with what I hope was old pancake batter. The room had coke splatters on the floor. One night my daughter dropped the remote under the bed, so I went with a flashlight to get it...oh my, there was an inch of thick dust completely covering under the bed. We arrived at night, later after check in and after all the staff had gone home so we had no where to go on the island and no one to complain to. We had taken Clorox wipes and were able to clean. There was no broom and the vacuum was covered in cobwebs. The chairs were all stained. The outside patio had black gunk all over them. The grounds were never taken care of, we would throw away our large kitchen garbage bags in the same trash bin every night and the bag from the night before was still there. No one changed or emptied the bin during our 4 day stay! All the public tables where filthy! One by the pool had the same fork on it for 4 days. There's also a huge sign next to the air that u must keep it at 80 or they'll bill u for excess electricity. And under the rules it says that if they have to do excess cleaning they'll charge u extra!!!! The nerve!!!!! The sheets were clean and we had disinfected everything after the first night so we decided to stay

The unit has bad odor, Aircondition did not work properly even after the maintanence guy arrived in less than 20 minutes for service. Every thing else was fine

Hotel needs serious updating and deep cleanings

Weathet was hit and miss as Emily came through during our stay, view was awesome from room. that was the best out of entire stay.

Relaxed "Old Florida" beach condo w/ pool...

Clean. No busy streets to cross for beach. Heated pool. Well-stocked kitchen. Great location. Quiet & safe. My family and I found this unit to be simple and comfortable. We also especially loved that we did not have to cross a busy street with our kids in order to get to the beach. Even though the unit is not specifically a beachfront unit in this condo complex, it is a very short and easy walk to get to the beach. The laundry facilities use quarters, so bring plenty of change if you're planning on washing clothes . All in all, we loved our stay at Coconuts. If you're looking for a simple and budget-friendly vacation rental on Anna Maria Island, we highly recommend Coconuts!

Can't Beat the Beach Front Location

Older, slightly dated property on a beautiful beach location. Comfortable room with well stocked kitchen. Our room even came with beach chairs and umbrella. This was a life-saver because we flew in. Well kept grounds. Beautiful pool.
