Very clean, newly remodeled. Only issues were the bathroom is teeny tiny! No room to move around in, at all. Can hardly sit on toilet. Shower door hits the sink. Also, the pull out couch was so new the plastic wrap was still on the mattress and we could not pull it out of the couch!! And could not get TV’s to work. That is why it received a rating of a 3.

Cute little motel with short walk to beach. Room was clean and everything worked as it should. The grounds could use a little TLC. We stayed on a Sunday so it was quiet and had the pool to ourselves. Great dining nearby just a short car ride. You must try pizza at THE FEAST. Just your basic old school Florida motel. Great location for the price.. would stay again.

We really enjoyed the room, especially the good-size refrigerator and the cute bathroom. It had a little screened porch, and the parking was very close. The pool had wonderful cushioned deck chairs and umbrellas. It's just a short walk to the beach, which was not overly crowded, even on a long holiday weekend. There are several restaurants and shopping areas close. The free trolley bus stop is nearby, too. The only thing I would improve is the garden around the pool. It had some weeds and dead plants.

Easy access to the property. It was clean and all the essentials were there. No real complaints. The bed was sagging in the middle of it. Easy walking distance to the beach!

We needed to check out shortly after arrival. Check-in is miles from room. It was late and took us a while to find it. A spray bottle of some kind of homemade deodorizer was left in room. The sheets were filthy.

Smelly rooms

The place was very small but clean. But my HUGE complaint is that they have some type of chemical smell in here that was so strong that I had a hard time falling asleep. I could not find any plug ins or anything that the strong chemical smell was coming from but you need to be aware that some people are super sensitive to heavy smells and chemicals.

Great Experience!

Haley’s Motel is still severely damaged. The company gave us a replacement room at no charge at the Bali Hai. This property was definitely an upgrade! It’s nice to do business with a responsible company!
