"Novelty of staying on a houseboat is fun, and the place was nicely laid out and clean. However, there is essentially nothing in the immediate area for dining or amenities. There's a plaza of stores about 2km away. Immediate vicinity is a bit gritty and public transport is limited. It was odd to feel isolated yet look across the harbor and see a bustling city. "I enjoyed my stay at Comfort Hotel Gothenburg. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to shopping and to many tourist sites. Also there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel as well as a ferry boat terminal. It is also an easy walk to the train/bus stations. The hotel is clean and modern with a lot of interesting photos of Gothenburg posted throughout the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. They helped me locate an open currency exchange store when I checked in. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel to people visiting Gothenburg."
