"**1/5 stars — Completely Unacceptable: Hotel Closed After Confirmed Reservation** I arrived at this hotel at 1:00 AM after a long drive, only to find the place completely shut down — doors locked, nobody there, completely dark. I had a confirmed reservation through Expedia and received zero notice that this property had closed. As a truck driver, I don't have the luxury of showing up at a hotel during business hours. "From Vancouver Island to Esterhazy, this was best motel/hotel we had the pleasure to stay at. Great breakfast as well."

"Was in pretty gross condition. Had water dripping from the ceiling over the toilet in the bathroom. Mould on the ceiling in the bathroom. One of the mattresses had a huge indentation down the middle - making it hard to sleep. To top it off there was a wad of chewing gum on the carpet between the two beds. I gave amenities only a "poor", only because we didn't use anything."

"It is clear that the rooms do not receive deep cleaning in between guests, as there was notable buildup, residue, splatter on everything that doesn’t typically get cleaned (window, chairs, walls, light switches, etc). The bare minimum cleaning and sanitizing is done. The walls are paper thin (avoid joint room at all costs). Although the staff was excellent and polite, just need a cleaning lesson."
