"a great choice when visiting Matera."

"The property is very clean"

"Staff was excellent"

"Very Nice Spa!"

"Absolutely exquisite rooms carved into the caves of Matera. The entire town is full of stairs everywhere so difficult to transport luggage. Upon check in the male reception did not offer to help us with our bags that was difficult for to senior women. But in general, the rest of the staff was very helpful very kind very accommodating, beautiful magnificent hotel in the center of town but highly recommend it."

"I loved it all, cannot wait to go back and stay a bit longer"

"I stumbled across this hotel whilst looking at a 5* property. I’m so glad I booked here. The owner Roberto and his colleague Francesco were so welcoming. The room I booked was fabulous. The wellness room with jacquzzi and Sauna on a separate level. The communication before arrival and check in was brilliant. Car parking booked and the hotel was easy enough to find. The views from the hotel of the sassi are amazing. The breakfast was so nice, something for everyone. On checkout we had a good chat...

"This is a place to stay within Matera, it was worth the money to be there. Experience is amazing."

"This hotel was really sweet. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were beautiful . Breakfast had so much to offer. They reached out to us before our stay to help navigate our arrival. They arranged a cab to pick us up at the airport. Everything was an A++ We are sharing our first class experience with everyone we know."

"The property is very close and walking distance from the sassi and main business. The parking space is closed by. Luciana was wonderful and very kind with us."

"If you’re looking for a room without service, this is your kind of place. Let’s start with the good. The room was furnished tastefully. Conveniently located. Cleanliness would be 8 out of 10. Service is the area that certainly needs improvement. They don’t turn on their WhatsApp number that was provided in Expedia’s messages. You may not get to go in to your room and wonder how you can get help. Luckily they got two wonderful neighbors that were inconvenienced to provide the service they lacked....
