Cari Chalet di Sasso Caveoso

"Incredible stay. Enjoyed the facilities, spa and breakfast. Would highly recommend this property."

"Exquisite boutique hotel in the heart of the old Sassi with easy access to everything. Beautiful property, every room a gem and the staff and ownership are superb. We have stayed here now two times and highly recommend this gem as a unique hotel experience that celebrates its history while offering a luxury experience ."

"The staff were very nice and professional. Owner Joseph went to garage to pick us up, Roberto help with our luggage. Very helpful service. The cave rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We love to come back and recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Matera."

"It was unique hotel in historic city area! U have to park car outside the historic area! Then, taxi( additional fee) can take u to hotel! And hotel can arrange that! Or u can walk! Breakfast is OK, but very limited! Staff is very helpful and friendly!!"

"The reception sold me on a tuk tuk tour at 5:40 telling me it was sunset. IT WAS COLD AND DARK. I WAS FURIOUS. HAD I BEEN INFORMED PROPERLY, I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOOKED. FOR A LUXURY HOTEL I EXPECT TO BE INFORMED"

"The hotel was right by Sassi. Loved everything about our room. And most of all the staff were extremeley great and friendly esp Sara and Davide. They both assisted us and answered all our questions and inquiries and made our stay really stress-free. Will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we're in Matera."
