We knew it was small, especially for a family with 3 children, but we were there for the sea and beach. Nice common area and free tea and coffee acted as our kitchen. Fridge was shared and saved us lots of eating out. Deal breaker was day 7 coming to the room and seeing a rat on our bed. No sleep that night, checked out early.No refund.

Vacation in Koh Lipe

At booking, the confirmation is sent to wrong email, i never received it, i wait, and no more room available, i booked an other hotel, that cost me a double booking. During staying, almost impossible to communicate with reception (English or by hand), the manager come with an attitude 'already payed, i don't care'. When smoking in downstair, the smoke go to uptair, very ennoies. The room was built by coco lumber, the powder termite blowed by the aircon, make itchy allway.

Vi gillade verkligen hotellet med tanke på personal, läge och superbekväma sängar. Rummen var väldigt små men det var inget som störde oss. Det enda negativa var att det bodde kackerlackor i väggarna vilket kändes äckligt och otryggt, vi såg en enorm på vårt badrumsgolv. Antar att man får vad man betalar för.

Mycket resvant par i 65-års åldern med låga krav.

Rummet var mycket litet. Endast ett fönster som vette direkt mot förbi passerande vilket innebar att man alltid var tvungen att ha fördraget.

Nice enviornment with very reasonable price though the room is not very big. The breakfast was good, and the staff is very kind and friendly. The place of the hotel is very close to the middle part of the Walking street, which is quite convenient.

L'hôtel est bien situé au centre de la grande rue. La chambre était très petite et très sombre en plus d'être bruyante (bruit de l'étage supérieur). La responsable de l'accueil est plutôt agréable et ils servent un bon petit déjeuner (inclus). Je pense qu'on peut trouver mieux à Lipe.

Bra område, trevlig personal, terass där man kunde ta vatten och kaffe själv. Vi hade dock besök av några kackerlackor på rummet, vilket gjorde vår vistelse mindre bra.

En natt räcker!

För mycket som gick ut på handel! Hotellet såg ut som det låg vid/på stranden i appen men låg högt upp o mitt i centrum! Rent o fräscht hotell med kall vatten i duschen, helt ok för pengen,räcker med en natt.

Bien para el precio que tiene

Las indicaciones del GPS no están bien, estuvimos casi una hora buscando el alojamiento. Para futuros huéspedes poned en el GPS hotel Gipsy 2, está en la misma calle. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta, en una calle perpendicular de la walking street pero no sé oían ruidos. Lo único malo es que al entrar en la habitación huele un poco a humedad ya que la única ventana que tiene no se abre porque da a un pasillo. El desayuno bien, zumo, café o te (es gratis durante todo el día), dos tostadas con mantequilla y mermelada, algo de fruta y a elegir entre tortilla, 2 huevos fritos o revueltos. Para los precios que se manejan en Lipe viene muy bien el desayuno incluido. Limpian la habitación todos los días. El Wifi a veces no iba. La habitación es un poco pequeña pero ya lo pone en la descripción.

Väldigt litet rum, hård säng, myror i rummet & i sängen. Helt ok frukost, men ganska lite mat och bara ägg, rostade mackor och några bitar frukt. Hotellets plats är fel på kartan på hotels.com, hotellet ligger längs walking street och inte vid stranden.

Hostel högst upp på Walkig Street

Helt okej vistelse på Latern Inn. En varning är att hostelet inte ligger där det står på kartan. Vi gick fram och tillbaka på ön tills en snäll taxichaufför visade oss vägen. Vi hade väntat oss att det skulle ligga närmare stranden, men det ligger högst upp på Walking Street, vilket däremot inte gjorde så mycket för oss. Passar bra för backpackers. Väldigt små rum och inget riktigt duschutrymme. Sängarna var hårda och lösenordet till internet fungerade inte alls. Plus för både aircon och fläkt!
