"We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

"The owners of the gite were not on hand throughout the booking. There was no bedding, no electricity and no hot water. We called the number several times, left a message but no response. We left the property and stayed elsewhere."

"This was a very unique place to stay. Its an old building that has been very nicely renovated. The owner was so incredibly nice and accommodating. She gave is advice on what was in the area and served us breakfast in the morning, but we were only there one night passing through. This place is very rustic and remote, so just be prepared - no TV, no wifi, etc. But it made for a nice night of talking, reading and playing games."
