stayed for one night. The hotel were amazing and the staff were helpful. Heavy rain closed the national park and they gave us a refund for our second night not questions asked. Brilliant location with friendly staff would recommend.
Stayed for 2 nights to do a tiger safari at the national park. Checkin was easy. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel grounds a gorgeous. Food and drinks available and reasonably priced.
This place is value for money.Very pleasing and friendly staff.Whatever extra items you request are delivered with a smile. A special mention for the Gentleman on the check in desk, always smiling ang greeting with folded hands and ready to fulfil all your requests. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced
A nice warm welcome at reception room and property as a whole very clean and well maintained. All staff in bar and restaurant very pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of choice for all meals.
Very helpful whether it was exchanging money or organising trips and transfers.
Had to contact reception a couple of times regarding wifi connectivity but each time quickly resolved.
Hotel which should have been nice in the past, but need to be refurbish. Cleanliness is questionable everywhere, either in the room or public places. We had to request change of bed sheet, bathroom was dirty and also room in general. Swimming pool was open but not maintained, water not clean. Breakfast is limited and not good.
Generally good hotel with helpful staff. Excellent understanding service for those leaving or arriving at odd times
Things that could be better
- wi-fi was a bit patchy
- restaurant was a little unadventurous (certainly not what I'd call multi-cuisine) and couldn't use their initiative to make simple things not on the menu like iced coffee
- the safari tours booked through the hotel are expensive; it's much better value to book such tours at the Ankur resort next door (and they seem more organised there in this respect)
- hot water not always available, it seems, for instance at 5:30am when preparing to go on safari
- the pool was jolly cold
We had a lovely stay. The staff were amazing - so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble. Room was cold - but we had been sitting in a hot car for 8 hours!! Towels looked grubby, but after using them after a safari - I can see why. Loved the place
Food is not up to the mark..limited variety in bf..

A former palace in need of an update
Indeed, this place is a palace, or more accurately, was a palace. Things have clearly deteriorated over time and now things look tired and don’t quite work as they should. Our room smelled a little musty and in need of a good clean; the sheets not so clean either. Our bathroom had seen a little maintenance recently though the finishes left a bit to be desired and there were leaks in the pipe work. However, Ranthambore and particularly these hotels, survive on the National Park tourists. If you see a tiger, the hotel is fantastic, if you don’t the hotel is a bit shabby. Well, we did see a tiger, the food is pretty good, the staff helpful – it’s just that elements of the property need a little upkeep. The pool and gardens are beautiful and lush, the main buildings look reasonably ok. We booked our morning and afternoon safaris through the hotel and they were very good though the morning one a little disorganised we felt (not the hotel’s fault in any way).
The hotel doesn’t look as nice as on the pictures. As for example the pool water was green, the toilet wasn’t flushing properly and the aircon couldn’t be regulated. The food wasn’t overwhelming and the hotel completely overcharged us for the safari.
But the worst were the blankets as they had stain and were smelly. When we asked for replacement the staff brought blanket after blanket but none of them was satisfying until they had to buy new ones at the market.

Disliked: Cleanliness
It was obvious that the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, towels were stained and there were holes in the bed sheets.
Belle piscine et un peu eloignee de la route, donc pas de bruit a part celui du clim. Prorete pas ai normes occidentaux mais certes assez bien. Tenant compte des prix des hotels luxueux dans cette ville certes une bon qualite/prix.
Excellent communication from the start. They organised my safari and onward travel.
On arrival the reception was excellent and shown to my room that was large with high ceilings. On my trip this is one of the few places that I felt that it was properly cleaned.
The staff in the restaurant were superb and always happy to help and the food was also good. With everyone staying probably good on safari in the morning having a breakfast available on return is an excellent idea.
Property location, condition is great. I was also upgraded with bigger room without even asking for the same. Hotel Staffs are great. Specially thanks to Amar in Dinning as He made our a stay like home. Front desks staff along with Manager great as well. I would definitely recommend this property and will personally stay here again.
The hotel was very comfortable and kitschy. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It's the perfect place to relax after a safari.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Despite my room being quite spacious, the power kept cutting out. My shower and toilet had no pressure. The shower was cold. After I complained the staff offered a room change. The room was better but I felt very unsettled with my experiance. Not great but not terrible either.
